Wonderful
From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed. The reception area was welcoming. Our room was very cute - loved the little personal touches (welcome sign on the bed). The breakfast was delicious. Was the perfect location surrounded by lovely restaurants as well as beautiful lanes to walk.
Only downside was not having a lift. Thankfully we were only one level up but carrying the bags after a long day traveling was difficult.

Disappointing
Like the location, staff was friendly and nice. Breakfast was delicious.
Bed was horribly uncomfortable felt like a cot and had the springs coming out of the mattress. Did not sleep at all.

Location and history of the place
Top floor with no elevators, understandable as it is an old building

I received an upgrade to what is basically a small studio due to a special request for no extra charge! The breakfast is one i would eat every day if I could and it starts at 7 am
The Wi-fi is a little patchy in the evening, it comes back but you may have to pause your internet use for a bit. Some glitches with the key card but these were addressed by the front desk. The location is great but there is a 22 minute walk to the train station

Location to old town is perfect. A real little gem in the old town. It is actually the oldest building in Europe and perhaps the oldest hotel. It is small but very quaint.

The air conditioning was not good enough. The temperature was very hot every day we were there, and the room was too warm.

Pleasant
The buffet breakfast was satisfactory, but not as good as many other European hotels we stayed at.

Very Poor
Only location.
Traces of shit in the toilets in both rooms. The countertop and sink in one room were dusty. The towels in one room had crimson stains and an unpleasant odor. Also in one room there were hair of all sizes on the sheets, as well as stains. One of the visitors didn’t sleep all night and wasn’t able to call someone since the stuff is out after 23:00.

It’s a very old building adapted to be a hotel. It’s located in the old city. There are a lot of stairs and was no elevator to our 2nd story room. The room is small and basic but has a lot of character. The bathroom/ shower was tiny but functional. There was no kettle. There was a small area accessible outside. Creaky floors and stairs but it was quiet at night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Not for the elderly or disabled. It is very reasonably priced for the location. We didn’t have the breakfast.

Good
Comfortable bed, bathroom fine.
Very small room, only 1 chair and very little storage space. Perfect for us for one night but would have been very cramped for a longer stay.

Wonderful
The room was very pleasant. The bed was comfortable and there was a little sign welcoming me by name on it, which was very cute. The bathroom was spacious and clean, although the toiler paper dispenser was a bit interesting. There was also a well-stocked minifridge with snacks and drinks, and also a large bottle of wine and water on the desk. They were decently priced for hotel minifridge items. The breakfast was very nice, there was a typical spread of breakfast items, but also stirfried vegetables, raw vegetables to snack on, and a little glass jar to make a salmon sandwhich. The location of the hotel was also amazing and a short walk away from the places I wanted to visit.
The only downside was that the floors were a bit creaky and I could hear other guests walking around in the hallway at night because of the creaking floor.

Great location and well priced.
It is an old building with a pretty non-description 1960s interior.

The hotel is well located in the Aldstadt making it convenient to explore that part of town. The room was functional, clean and quiet (early spring). There was some street noise from cafes around but could be mitigated by closing the windows. The breakfast was excellent.
Nothing that I can think of.

When I got to my 3rd floor room, there was a sign on the bed welcoming me. It was very heartwarming. The room was very charming too. Location was perfect!
I was on a 3rd floor room and there was no elevator. But that being said, they did carry my suitcases up stairs for me.
