The location is very convenient if you travel by plane: One U-Bahn station from the airport and 3 minutes walk.
Neighborhood is quiet and calm and there is a lovely restaurant right next to the hotel with German traditional food and beer.
Approximately 15 minutes by U-Bahn to the center of the city.
Room was big enough for a 4-member family.
As we arrived late - we got PIN number to unlock our room, as the hotel does not have a 24/7 reception.
Also as we left very early (3.30 am) from the reception booked us a taxi.
In short - great location for affordable price.

Wonderful
The room was very comfortable, and amenities were very accommodating, staff was helpful and stored our luggage when we arrived early . The location was near the metro which was easy to utilize for going to the Christmas Market and the city center. There was an authentic German restaurant nearby that had delicious food.
Perhaps not having a room so close to the entrance as the door was heavy and when opened and shut it shook our room with a bang, as well the foot traffic we could hear. The check was a bit confusing with the hours, but it worked out since they were booked and needed to extend their hours for check in.

There was a refrigerator with drinks in the lobby.
The receptionist didn't speak English, an elder lady, very unpleasant attitude towards us
We booked 2 single rooms because it was written that they have a twin bad.
But they didn't. It was very upsetting for us when we get there and saw a small bad instead of a twin bad. Please correct this mistake.
We had to fight with the receptionist in order to have a room with a proper bad so me and my daughter could sleepover properly.
Very unpleasant behavior she had towards us. We were shocked.

I don't enjoy giving negative reviews, but the only reason I decided to write this one was my unpleasant experience during my most recent stay at this hotel.
I previously stayed here two years ago, and everything was OK.
This year, I booked 3 rooms for 3 nights for the ECS 2025 exhibition. I arrived one day earlier and was offered an additional single attic room for 50 EUR. I attached some pictures from that room, which are representative enough to conclude that 50 EUR per night was justified.
Since my initial booking (3 rooms for 3 nights) started the next day, for which I was charged over 200 EUR/room/night, I expected to be moved to a renovated, more spacious room with additional facilities justifying the price difference.
Surprise! I was told to stay in the same attic room for which I had paid 50 EUR the previous night but was now charged over 200 EUR per night.
I requested a room change due to the significant price difference. To my surprise, I was informed that the "prices are increased during trade fairs periods".
Honestly, I don't think Hotel Alpha's approach is fair.
I've attended other exhibitions in different parts of Germany but have never encountered such a customer policy.
Regrettably, I will not return here because I felt deceived.

Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice.
Communicating with the hotel in before I arrived was impossible. I tried many times to send a message via booking.com and calling the phone number provided. I arrived in the evening and the hotel is not staffed so no response at all. When I arrived at the hotel, there was a phone number on the door (which was different from the number on the website). Thankfully that number did answer, but the staff member couldn't find my reservation details! So he had me outside the hotel on the phone proving my reservation for 15mins in the cold before letting me in! Not happy at all.

Great hotel for our journey from Holland to Austria. Kind staf, comfortabel and clean room. We where able to arive very late in the evening. And very nice bar/ restaurant next door!
All good, we did not had the breakfast. It looked good from a distance.

Facilitated late check in. Breakfast was good. Location is OK.
When I booked, the room size was mentioned as 26 sqm. However, I was given a room which was way too small. Room size is the first criteria I look at when I book a room. So, it is really disappointing when you don't get what you booked. It was only for a day, and I was too tired to complain after carrying my luggage into the room.
