Disappointing
Bad and pillows
The hotel is located near an area that feels very unsafe. Groups of strange people were hanging around, and we felt worried something might happen to us or to our car. The staff at the reception were unfriendly and unhelpful — they seemed irritated whenever we asked a question, showed no smile, and gave the impression that they dislike their job. The surroundings of the hotel do not feel safe at all. Caution: Very narrow garage entrance – risk of car damage. Big minus.

The Hotel was really confortable and we had the option to drink tea inside the rooms. The location was ok, close to the city center, but I felt a bit unsafe walking around in the evening (never felt unsafe in Nünberg before).
The wifi was not working well, and we were given a piece of paper with a QR code to enter a - what appeared to be an external wifi - in the beginning of our booking. I think it was not professional of Holiday Inn to do that, as I have been in other Holiday Inns around the world before.
The personal was also not really friendly when we asked about room service and the wifi problem; we were told that "we should have arrived before to solve the wifi issue", although it was 5pm and it was a hotel where most people stay for business reasons (including me). Da habe ich mich mit der Personal sehr unwohl gefüllt, als ob sie für Fragen und Hilfe unverfügar waren.
Although I really like Holiday Inn and the room was confortable, I was disappointed.

Room was excellent. Staff friendly. Location was very good close to city centre. There was a lot of red lights but it was not threatening in anyway.
