Location and breakfast was .five star.
The hotel reception and bar was too small. On arrival snd the evening we could not have a table for drinks and food. As guests this is not acceptable. We had to leave the hotel for comfort a beer and facilities. Not a luxury experience but a luxury price.

Our experience with this hotel was extremely disappointing. The management and staff demonstrated highly unprofessional and unfair behavior consistently, alongside a total unwillingness to help. Based on our experience, we strongly advise against staying at this hotel."

Marian Platz is surrounded by so many monuments music halls and museums it's a great place to be in.And not to forget the shopping . The breakfast is very very good and since we were upgraded to a suite it was fantastic
I think at reception they have chosen to keep the lighting very subdued in my view it can be a wee bit more cheery

Only the location !
- room is too stuffy and smelly
- AC doesn’t work well, and when i called for assistance the lady who answered the phone said (open the window)
- i booked a king bed and got a twin room instead
- pillows are so not comfortable. We weren’t able to have a proper sleep

Overall, I had a wonderful stay at the Kempinski Hotel in Munich.
I was delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful, spacious room, which was a lovely gesture and very much appreciated. The hotel was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and ideally located.
The breakfast was truly outstanding, with an excellent selection of high-quality food and impeccable service. I would particularly like to highlight the lady welcoming guests at the breakfast entrance, who was exceptionally friendly, warm, and professional. The entire breakfast team was equally attentive and courteous, and the service was impressively quick and efficient. It was a pleasure to start each morning in such a welcoming atmosphere.
The only aspect that I found disappointing was the service in the lobby lounge. Unfortunately, it was extremely slow and did not quite match the otherwise excellent standards of the hotel. Additionally, as the lobby lounge is also frequented by outside visitors, it was often difficult for hotel guests to find a place to sit and enjoy a drink.
I believe that guests staying at the hotel should have a better opportunity to enjoy this space, particularly in a hotel of this calibre.
Despite this minor drawback, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and greatly appreciated the hospitality, cleanliness, wonderful breakfast, and thoughtful room upgrade. I would be happy to return.
