Location was good for getting into town by bus or the distance can be walked. The train station is within walkinv distance.

Location near train station and lovely bakery a few doors down.
Hotel was great ,but restaurant downstairs could improve. They give you olive oil and balsamic to put on your salad, but when the salad arrives it is doused in dressing. They should keep that dressing in a separate container, so you can add to taste.
Prefer for salad to be served with no dressing so you can use the olive oil and balsamic yourself. All 3 dressings together would be a disaster

We had a lovely friendly welcome from the receptionist and he gave us the good news that our rooms were ready for check in earlier than anticipated. Rooms were exactly as described, beds comfortable and excellent showers..Breakfast was plentiful and good quality. Bags were stored securely for us when we checked out.
Rooms are compact but we didn’t mind as bathroom was a little roomier than in some other hotels we have stayed in.

Great location for the city and transport links.
Tiny lift and hotel sign only visable from one side of the road. It could do with another sign on the other side as google maps have the hotel 500m away
