The lobby, the staff, the breakfast, the spa
As soon as I checked in, there was an empty bottle of water on the desk! The shampoo holder in the bath was broken! I wanted to ask for extra pillows. The room service number didn't answer or was busy, then I tried to call the hotel by my mobile, I didn't succeed, then finally I could call the room service and they brought me the pillows.

The hotel as such is ok. Good facilities and breakfast
The small print… We booked one room for 3 people (2 adults and an 11 year old) We expected 2 beds in the rooms. At reception we were informed that there is only one bed and we are expected to sleep all in the same bed. But they can put another bed in there. Which we accepted. Next day for checkout: the bed was another 60€. Don’t forget the car park. That was another 30. No… they did not do a service or valet the car. Staff member asked about this at reception responded in an unfriendly manner. I feel defrauded. It’s basically like buying a ln empty box of a PS5 and then being told one should have read the offer properly. Wonder when this hotel will start charging for using water or air and then refer to small print.

The location is good short walk to bus and Metro, easily accessible with Uber and Taxi. Excellent fitness and Spa area with a very good sauna and pool. Very friendly and helpful staff. Absolutely recommended if you’re interested in having a great human experience.
The room we got was an “upgrade” straight into the “luxurious” deco of 1980/1990’s. Seriously, whoever thinks this is 5 stars luxury needs to have their eyes checked. It hasn’t been 5 stars in a decade. Perhaps there are some modernized rooms in this hotel but ours wasn’t one of them. On the bright side, clean and comfy bed.

The room was big and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed that there were three restaurants at the location, but the best part was the pool/spa area.
Location was a bit far from downtown Munich (20 minute taxi each way). Not a lot of options outside of the hotel.
