The concierge people are the best part of this hotel
The location of hotel is horrible just next to a train station and weird neighborhood .. many construction around hotel at time of stay but no noise heard inside .. roads in front of hotel is just not comfortable to cross with many crossing vehicles .. be aware of cycles rides they don’t care if you are walking or drinking they just own the road ! And don’t bother to call reception as you might wait for ever, way under staffed hotel

My favorite hotel in Munich. Love the classic space that was formerly a royal post office. And the spa is a haven, luxurious. Would only stay here.

The front desk staff
The room was quite small. The bathroom has a large glass panel, so if someone wants to leave the bathroom light on during the night, the entire room lights up, making it difficult for the other person to sleep. The bathroom door is also made of glass, difficult to close, and has an opening instead of a proper handle positioned right in front of the toilet. There is virtually no privacy. One morning, a very loud alarm suddenly went off throughout the hotel. We later found out it was the hotel's annual fire alarm system test, but no one had informed guests in advance. After check-in, no one offered to help us with our luggage, which was surprising for a hotel in this price range. The room was clean, and the reception staff were friendly and efficient. However, at €300 per night without breakfast, the hotel simply doesn't offer good value for money. Charging €90 for breakfast for two people is excessive. Overall, our stay was disappointing. We expected a much better experience for the price.

The location is literally a few steps from the Deutsche Bahn trains pull into the Hauptbahnhof. The hotel itself is in a beautiful old building with lots of character, rooms are luxurious and well thought out, and there’s a beautiful pool and spa that felt really nice after traveling. The staff are also really wonderful. One member helped with a room upgrade, and another recommended a really great dinner spot and jazz bar that made my trip to Munich memorable!

Rooms were well appointed, clean and comfortable. Great Spa. Nice coffee shop bar where one good buy a nice breakfast. Staff were amazing.
Room AC was not working properly and despite multiple complaints it was not fixed. A portable fan was given instead. WE had booked two rooms and the second room AC worked fine. Given the warm weather we particularly booked a hotel room with AC, but unfortunately our AC did not work.
