The location is amazing and we loved the breakfast at the hotel. Also, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
We noticed a lot of wear & tear in our room. Lots of scratches on the bathroom door and some wall damage next to the television (above the desk in the main room). Surely this was the result of a few bad guests but it is something that we noticed when getting settled. It did not affect the comfort of our stay and otherwise the room was very clean but it was surprising to notice this type of damage in an otherwise pristine hotel setting.

Perfect location, very friendly staff, very good breakfast.
Some rooms are located on another level which forces you to carry your luggage up and down the stairs or have a staff member do it for you.

The hotel is in a prime location right in the city center, just a few steps from everything. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive and always made sure we were comfortable, truly welcoming. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, and the room was very spacious and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of great options. We had an amazing stay and would definitely come back.
As it’s right in the city center, there can be some street noise occasionally.

The location was great. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was nice. I love the little Saint Nicholas gift.
The room definitely seemed a little worn and to me was on the expensive side for a single person to stay in a small twin room. Very noisy at night when you open the window due to the proximity to the beer Halls. Although I was on an upper level floor, I felt like the party was right outside my room.

LOVED the Platzl Hotel. We stayed in a suite and it was so charming, well decorated. The bed was enormous and very comfortable. Really really loved our stay here. I would definitely stay here again. Staff was very friendly and helpful and we were able to use the on site parking which was wonderful.

The rooms felt very clean, and the staff was SO nice! Our check in was not until 3 pm and we arrived in the morning, and they held our bags for us and offered us access to the spa area which had a shower, steam room, and a locker room! So, we were able to change and shower post long plane right and have a full day in Munich even though we were not able to get into our room. Also was in a very great and central location. Loved it here and will be back!!

Received a warm welcome and helpful staff members throughout stay. Room was clean with new bathrooms. Room and bathroom was well laid out with functionality in mind. The single bed was comfortable and wider than I expected so it is a large single (not very long mind you - note for those over 6ft 2). WiFi was stable and needed due to this being a work trip. Umbrella's were ready in case needed as there were light showers throughout the day. Enjoyed a wonderful selection for breakfast. Location is superb and convenient with Marienplatz station a few streets away however it is next to a famous dining/drinking location which is a little noisy at night with window open.
Even with the window closed, I could still hear the guests at the restaurant/brewery down the street - perhaps the window seal was not there/working.

I wanted to be in the 5th floor but since its the highest floor Room was a bit small due to the roof lf the building and it was taking lots of voice from outside.
