Our check-in was incredibly welcoming. The front desk receptionist gave us plenty of delicious restaurant recommendations. The free hour of spa/sauna use was wonderful as well as complementary mini bar offerings. I love having bathroom and slippers in the room so that was nice. Clean room and bathroom - for the price of the room compared to other hotels in the area we were happy with the intimate boutique hotel and great staff.

Location is the best, staff are so nice and friendly
the rooms lack important hygiene items like toothbrushes, Qtips, razor and no comb and you need to ask for them individually and collect them from reception.

Location is superb. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. New lobby cafe is an excellent addition to an already wonderful establishment. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Removal of the deep bath tubs for walk-in showers is fantastic! Water was hot upon demand which made showering pleasant. The beer soaps and skin lotion are pleasant. Towels are nice, thick and soft. Did I mention the staff is courteous, professional and very helpful?!
Noise level inside the room with windows closed. Smaller bed pillows are flat and not fluffy.

We were so happy with this property and even one of our tour guides said it was the best location in Munich. The room was very nice and comfortable with nice design. Staff were very accommodating with help and information.

The Platzl Hotel was a beautiful hotel in a historic building located very close to Marienplatz. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I couldn’t be happier with our decision to stay there and would without hesitation stay there again.
