Perfect location and super helpful staff. Hotel was very clean and our room was very quiet and comfortable. Everything very efficient and we could even get tickets for the underground trains from reception. Breakfasts were great and we liked having a drink in the bar.
The bedrooms were slightly tired and could do with a refresh although the bathrooms were much more stylish. Although we loved the hotel, it was expensive but I think that’s just Munich and being so central and in such an ideal location for everything.

Location is superb. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. New lobby cafe is an excellent addition to an already wonderful establishment. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Removal of the deep bath tubs for walk-in showers is fantastic! Water was hot upon demand which made showering pleasant. The beer soaps and skin lotion are pleasant. Towels are nice, thick and soft. Did I mention the staff is courteous, professional and very helpful?!
Noise level inside the room with windows closed. Smaller bed pillows are flat and not fluffy.

We were so happy with this property and even one of our tour guides said it was the best location in Munich. The room was very nice and comfortable with nice design. Staff were very accommodating with help and information.

Amazing location and good accommodations. Worth to mention that the room service works pretty well with free beverages from the room fridge.
Bathroom is an opportunity to improve. Shower "pressure" and bath amenities could be better (when compared to similar hotels)

The Platzl Hotel was a beautiful hotel in a historic building located very close to Marienplatz. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I couldn’t be happier with our decision to stay there and would without hesitation stay there again.
