Great location in Munich for exploring and lots of beer places nearby. We were there for the oktoberfest and also well located for that as well. Fabulous buffet breakfast - don't miss it.
Cost of the room was astronomical due to oktoberfest and the noise from the street almost all night was really disruptive.

Room was fantastic, spacious and was very clean and comfortable. Staff were amazing throughout. The bar staff in particular were amazing. Good breakfast too.
Nothing really, but it'd been interesting to have had a bit more history about the Ayinger brewery as we had to Google it

The staff was not great. Peter at the front desk didn’t even ask us if we liked our stay when we checked out/didn’t thank us for staying there. He seemed annoyed to be helping us check out.

Hotel Platzl was perfectly located in Munich for us. Close to the English Park, Museums, the Market area, etc. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff was attentive and friendly.

We have stayed here multiple times- only place we will stay in Munich because of location & nice rooms…food is great & so are the employees
Rooms are small but normal size for Europe - very comfortable beds/pillows & updated bathrooms/flooring…
