Unable to get anything to eat at 1 am in the morning when I arrived!! No room service, no biscuits - Nothing!

You are located just around the corner from Marienplatz and many of the other highlights of Munich. The hotel itself is beautifully laid out and easy to access. The rooms were also very nice and had everything you would need. Breakfast was also really great and you must use the sauna! Simply exquisite!

I liked the lobby, fitness room, the bar area, easy access to the room and of course the breakfast buffet.

Platzl Hotel is 2 blocks from Marienplatz, the S8 Metro Station and the Hofbrauhaus. Very convient location. Our room was very clean. The hotel offered free cold bottled water etc in the room which we appreciated.
This is an older property and we visited on August 27th. The room had A/C but remained warmer than we would have preferred.

Great location in the centre of Munich old town. Walking distance to the Marienplatz. Easily accessible by train. Rooms were good size. Staff were friendly. Gym/sauna and wellness centre were good places to go after a day out. Some noise at night as the beer hall is across the road but noise restrictions mean it’s not too loud after 10pm. Pillows initially very soft but able to select firm pillows from pillow menu. Didn’t do breakfast as was quite expensive so unable to comment.
Some noise at night depending on the room location. But does get quiet after 10pm.

Excellent bathroom with shower door that closed so water did not go all over the floor with rain head outlet. Good location to old town and one block from Hofbrau House. Refrigerator in room.
Sheets didn’t fit bed, so every time you roll over they bunch up under you, making the bed lumpy. Room is small but that’s normal for most European hotels.
