We stayed for two nights (9–11 October, the weekend after Oktoberfest) and had a pleasant overall experience. Location: Situated in southern Munich, around 30-40 minutes from Munich Hbf by U-Bahn and bus. It is a little far from the city centre, so allow yourself roughly an hour to reach the Hotel from HBF if you have a packed sightseeing schedule and if you are going to use public transport. Room & Check-in: Check-in was smooth, the room was clean and adequately spacious for two people, and the bed was super comfortable. The hotel premises were well maintained. Breakfast – The Highlight! Served from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM, breakfast offered an excellent spread with something for everyone. Options included coffee, tea, croissants, chocolate croissants, apple pie pastry, 3–4 types of Brötchen, toast, assorted cheeses, ham, mortadella, salami, butter, fresh fruits, muesli, plain and flavoured yoghurt, multivitamin, orange and apple juices, and water, Nürnberger sausages, Weißwurst, bratwurst, a sausage-cutlet-style item, assorted sauces, mustards, scrambled eggs, bacon, and grilled/roasted vegetables. Sweet options included pancakes, Nutella, honey, maple syrup, other pancake syrups, and assorted marmalades. A generous and varied breakfast, and easily the highlight of our stay! Dining: The hotel has Hans im Glück as its partner restaurant on the ground floor. We had burgers there one evening, and as always, Hans im Glück did not disappoint. The burger was decadent and absolutely delicious! Pros: Excellent, varied breakfast. Super-comfortable bed and clean room. Smooth check-in and well-maintained premises. Convenient ground-floor dining at Hans im Glück. Overall: 7.5–8/10
Cons: Very weak shower water pressure. Our request for a double bed instead of twin beds was not fulfilled. Colourful elevator lighting and backlighting behind the TV felt a little gaudy and unnecessary to us, though this is subjective. Somewhat far from the city centre.

Great hotel for our group of 9 attending the Oktoberfest. Clean, comfortable, good public transport links .
Bar was expensive, we also had a disputed bill where the waitress charged us for an extra beer.

Modern, clean in a quiet location with a good breakfast
No ability to drink tea in the room. Confusion regarding breakfast. I left a €100 deposit in reception at check in for incidentals. I had not prepaid breakfast needing flexibility. When I went to breakfast the first day I was told I had to go to reception to arrange it. I didn't have time but couldn't see why the lady in the restaurant couldn't take my room number and add it to my bill. When I went to reception in the evening they said my €100 deposit was because of Oktoberfest and not for incidentals. I am not sure why. I am not in the habit of behaving like a Barbarian, or Bavarian. Unfortunately, the U3 line was under repair which made travel to Expo Real in Messe Ost really difficult and time consuming. That was a real nuisance but not the fault of the hotel
