Room decor , bed was comfortable
Over prices , girl on reception when we checked very rude and unhelpful , bar staff not much better. We booked 3 rooms for 4 nights but due to family circumstances we needed to amend our booking by reducing 1 night stay, we contacted the hotel a few weeks before we traveled but they refused to amend our booking thus charging the full amount , I thought this was very bad form ! We paid 3,500 for 12 nights without breakfast what a rip off

fron my arrival to my departure i never experienced a more friendly and more guestfriendly hotel then novotel munich city the next time in munich again the only place to stay.

Room was good. View I will be OK once the renovations are complete.
The entrance is hard to find. Really hard. We saw several guests wandering up and down the street tying to find the way in. There was no sign showing guests had to walk 50 metres down the driveway and no sign to the entrance once they did. And there was no milk available for cups of tea. LITTLE PLASTIC TUBES OF POWDERED COFFEE CREAMER ARE NOT MILK!!!! Even the cheapest low-budget hotel has milk. When we asked we were told there was no milk available. Bar staff were robotic and not friendly. Ignored us until it was our turn. No Ill be with you in a moment, no friendly smile, no eye contact. They might as well have been vending machines with faces painted on them. Maybe thats just Germany.

Liked the breakfasts and the wellness centre.
Didnt like the free internet reception which was very intermittent and the TV. All we could watch in English apart from Bloomberg was BBC news. Even though it was a smart tv there was no subtitling facility. The bathroom was a little cramped and a shortage of hooks.

It was relatively clean
Due to family emergency, I had to cut my trip short and return home 3 days earlier. Hotel has not given me refund for 3nights. I understand my booking was non-refundable, however I had family medical emergency . Otherwise, I would have stayed.
