This is my Third time to visit Munich and my Third time as well in Novotel Arnulf Park ... as usual my experience exceeded my expectations they never fail to please me and comfort me ,,,, thanks to the great staff they have upgraded my room to a Mini-bar Inclusive Superior room and as well avail early check in at 1 PM as I arrived from Train station at 11 AM ... Staff as usual were very welcoming, friendly and really do great efforts with simple kind smile ... Breakfast was amazing and Room and hotel facilities are new and modern, clean and comfort.... always will be my favorite spot in Munich

Location is perfect you can easly go to city center with one tram
The reception staff during check-in was very unprofessional. Although not all staff were problematic, the reception team could not handle a simple situation properly.
We were told to pay at the property, even though the stay had already been paid via Booking.com. Despite showing the payment confirmation email and my German residence permit, they became defensive and claimed I was making things complicated.
They insisted on taking a deposit, but when I asked if this was standard procedure, they said it was not. This made it clear that they simply did not trust that the payment had been completed, which is not an acceptable way to handle a guest.
For comparison, after Munich we stayed at 25hours Hotel Vienna, where a similar situation occurred. Even though they also could not immediately see the payment, they handled it professionally and kindly, informed us they would check with Booking.com, and assured us they would contact us if there was any issue.

The Novatel was modern, clean & comfortable. The location was an easy walk from the train station &Hop on/Hop off buses. The room was spacious & comfortable, we were very happy. Great breakfast, no complaints from us. A great stay.

The Hotel meets my expectations, this is second time to stay there after my first Trip in April 2025 now I stayed in Dec 2025 where the staff were as usual friendly and the reception lady adjusted my room to a room overlooking the main street not at the backyard as it was originally assigned ... breakfast was good a lot of varieties and room facilities and clean level met my thoughts ... area is super friendly with supermarket 800 m far (REWE) as well Tram Station 250 m away taking you to Karlsplatz (one of famous areas of old city) through Tram line 16 or 17 in just 7 Min ... amazing stay ... my perfect spot in Munich

The location was really good. It was just a short walk away from the S-Bahn so you get anywhere you want to, easily. There was a market nearby, too, which was nice for getting a few things if needed. The bar and restaurant were good and the wait staff was friendly.
The breakfast was not included which, honestly was my fault for not noticing when I booked it. But the cost per person per day to add it was 28€ which was ridiculous. The front staff were not the most pleasant. The bathtub/shower were nearly a foot higher than the bathroom floor which made getting out more difficult.

Nice lobby and good location.
The rooms did not have air conditioning, even though they have AC listed as an amenity and they have the thermostats. We walked into our room and it was 24 celsius. I called the front desk and this is where things got frustrating. First, I was told that it takes some time for the AC to work. Then I called again and was told the AC units do not cool more than 5 degrees than the outside temperature (the outside temperature was 13 celsius. Then I was told the unit is broken and it will be repaired the next day. I asked to be switched to a different room, I was told the hotel was fully booked. I looked online and they had several rooms available! The staff was giving me excuse after excuse to get me to just go away and accept things as they were. Finally, they moved us to a different room that was at 22 celsius. It was a warm and stuffy room, had to open the windows and deal with the street noise all through the night. We had three nights of sleeplessness at a CRAZY premium of a price of almost $700 USD per night.

Thom at the bar and Doreen in the restaurant were fantastic, very customer service oriented. Diana at checkout was also very professional and polished, and accommodated our air-conditioning complaint.. Location was great, parking garage was spotless!
Ahmad checked us in, was professional, told us that breakfast the next day, Sunday, was until 12 noon, we questioned that as it is later than normal, he assured us that we could get breakfast on Sunday until 12 noon. We arrived for breakfast the next day, Sunday, at 11:15, breakfast serving had closed at 11 AM. So Ahmad gave us bad info, but Doreen, in the breakfast restaurant, was very accommodating, allowed us to pick food from what they were cleaning up, and made a small plate for us as well...could not have been better in turning a bad situation into a pleasant situation. Novatel Booklet in the room also indicated that Sunday breakfast was served until 12 noon. Also, air-conditioning did not work, coolest was 24 degrees Celsius (warm by our standards, thermostat reflected that it could go to 18, but never went below 24), informed front desk of this evening of check-in, never corrected, but Diana made an accommodation for us regarding this upon check-out.

The bed was firm. The hotel was clean. There was a kettle in the room.
The staff made me jump through hoops to check in early. When I got back to the hotel that night it took 15 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk so I could get a new key made for my room.
