Staff is friendly, good value, clean and usually comfortable.
We were there while it was extremely hot and the air conditioning did not work well. It was too hot.

The location is good, because it has a lot of options of public transport. The breakfast is also wide of choice and tasty.
We didn’t get any cleaning, but the cleaned the other room of our friends and our room was not cleaned. The cleaning lady didn’t understand any german language, she came once and i said she can come in cause we were leaving in few minutes which she did not understand, said “sorry” and left

Most of the stuff, except the cleaning crew.They forgot to put slippers in the room and asked us to come down to the reception, also that happened when the cleaning crew took our key card. When we wanted to have a coffee and something to eat that we bought ourselves they made us leave the terace (on the site they said it is allowed to chill there). We did it a day before and cleaned after ourselves, it was no problem. They have no smoking area, there is a bin in front of the hotel, no place to sit, but not allowed on the terace (not a good look for a FOUR star hotel). On the booking app they said we could check in early, but it was not the case. They said booking does that with automatic message (it is not our problem, we scheduled our day according to that info).

It actually felt like a 5 star hotel, everything went pretty smoothly and the room was spacious and modern!
Maybe that there was no Netflix or YouTube available on TV but that‘s really the only thing.;)

The staff has been incredibly helpful and understanding. I complained about the AC system is not working. The staff responded immediately and offered anything they could help such as fan and room change. Although the room was still too hot in one of hottest day in Munich. They quickly offered discount and refund and voucher for drinks. The male evening staff is really kind and helpful even thought I was not acting happily about the situation. He no doubt deserves compliments for his work attitude! This allowed me to move to another hotel as option on the next day.
The AC system is centralised and could only be adjusted to 23 celcius degree. This is too hot for a baby to sleep I am afraid.

The room was a standard Novotel Hotel room. It was definitely clean, well lit and spacious. I like how they choose different color to provide theme to their rooms. My room had all the basic stuff that you would need. It was cleaned every day during my 3 night stay. The lobby and dining areas are designed nicely. I really like that they provided a panel next to TV to plug in cables to work with the TV e.g. HDMI. The Wifi was super easy to connect had a very good speed. The breakfast was very good with many options, staff was super friendly. The Sbahn was 15 mins walk and trams were 7 mins walk away. The Lime scooters and cycles were available near by.
The whole room moved when someone closed the door of another room. These bangs really spoiled the calmness in my room. Although, I booked a single room, my room had a door to another room which was locked. However, I could hear the people in the other room talking which was not very good experience and a privacy concern. Soggy/dead mattresses. The lights in the washroom emit quite some heat, if you stand there for sometime, you feel your face is hot.
