Disappointing
Novotel Arnulfpark is very close to most sights in Munich, about 20 minutes or so with public transport. It has a cozy atmosphere inside, while the public areas are squeaky clean. The hotel staff in restaurant and breakfast areas is very professional and well coordinated. There were some minor issues with cleanliness in my room, however, but I would still consider it clean enough. My room also had very good soundproof insulation.
Unfortunately, a serious incident occurred on the third day of my stay. Before leaving, I placed two signs on my door handle: Do not disturb and do not clean. I double-checked they were properly placed and clearly visible before I left. When I returned to my room several hours later, these signs were gone from the handle. Instead, I found them inside my room. I immediately realized that a member of staff had entered my room but I did not know why. Nothing was missing, damaged, or even cleaned. I went directly to the reception desk. Initially, they denied that any member of their staff had entered my room. However, they informed me that a technician would check the electronic lock's card reader the next day. The following morning, the technician arrived and confirmed exactly what I had suspected: A member of the hotel staff had indeed entered my room. But instead of addressing the issue, the Reception Manager shifted the blame onto me. She accused me of leaving the room’s garbage bin outside in the hallway, claiming that the staff member had no other option but to enter my room and put the bin back. This was a complete fabrication. Shockingly, the Reception Manager kept repeating this lie over and over again while literally laughing in my face the entire time. I was expecting a proper explanation, some reassurances that it won’t happen again and maybe even a simple apology from day one. That would have sufficed. Instead, I was mocked and insulted by the Reception Manager.

The cleanliness of the rooms are exceptional. The hotel staff is amazing and very helpful. The hotel is near 1 tram station 5 minutes walk and S-Bahn 7 minutes walks and the Hauptbahnhof is just 10 minutes by the tram. Totally recommended

We come to Munich at least once a year and find the Novotel very convenient interms of location and safe underground parking.
The rooms are spacoius and comfortable with good lighting and electrical sockets.
After a day out in Munich it feels very welcoming to return.

Clean, comfortable and convenient. It was a great stay during Oktoberfest. Beds were comfortable for our family of 4. The rooms weee clean and quiet. It was a 10 minute walk to the train station or an east tram ride. Train station was close to go to Dachau. A fabulous breakfast included and staff were very helpful. We could leave our bags before and after check in.

The breakfast is amazing! Lots of options and easy to access.
Air conditioning was underwhelming and room was hot. We opened windows to help. Lighting in bathroom could be stronger.
