Location was convenient, with a tram stop close by and an S-bahn station just a few minutes walk away. The place was nice and clean.
Room was quite small, and in particular the bathroom. Our room faced the main road so if the windows were open it would be loud (with trams going past too). However once the windows were closed, the soundproofing was good. There was no kettle in the room.

I'm a returning customer of Motel One in different cities. The staff was friendly and the rooms were very nice. The soundproofing was also pretty decent. My friends were complaining about some noise coming from the courtyard because their windows were open at night. The window in my room was closed and I didn't hear any noise.
This particular location was unresponsive to messages sent via the booking.com app so I had to call them to get an answer to my question before arrival.

Hotel is pretty. The receptionist was kind and efficient. Is very clean.
Parking lot is very small and always full, there was never a free spot during our whole stay and the streets around the hotel are always full of parked cars, very difficult to find a parking place. We arrived at 4pm on a Saturday and there was no one from the hotel, no receptionist, no concierge, no bartender, no waiter. There was already quite a line at the reception for checking in and we had no idea what was going on. After around 10 minutes the receptionist came, she was very kind and very effective but she had to do ALL the jobs at the same time, reception, concierge, bartender, waitress, etc, there was no one else, so obviously she was totally overrun with work. Later on we came back to the hotel at 11pm, which is not that late, we were quite hungry, kitchen was already closed so I asked the bartender (now a different one that the receptionist of the evening) if he could tell us where we could find something to eat. He was extremely rude, and without even looking at me just said "I dont know". So we went out try to find something to eat, there was absolutely NOTHING open around, we had to drive to the train station to find a Mc Donalds, and again, was 11pm! so, location of the hotel is terrible!

Check-in was quick and hassle-free. The room was comfy, clean and surprisingly quiet, given the act that it was facing one of the big city streets.
The room doors are one of the loudest I'd ever heard at any hotel. The way to get out of the underground garge is absolutely not self-explanatory! Having to return to the reception to ask how to get out is more than a little annoying.
