Location is very close to the centre and the metro station, it's within walking distance only. Additionally, there were many restaurants nearby. The car parking was available next to the hotel.

I have lost the trust with the people in the counter as I have given some valuables in the counter at the time of check out to handover to my friend. But when my friend came they said there is no such valuable there. However they have given a paper to give to my friend as well. Even though my friend showed this the counter said that there is no such valuable there.

The hotel is nicely set up. Rooms are good. The breakfast staff is exceptional. As long as you stay inside, this place is great.
Dont go outside. The area is seedy with many young men hanging out all night. And very noisy! We were on the 6th floor and still the street noise kept us up all n8ght long (4am!). We didn't feel comfortable walking outside. Stay far from the train station if you can. If you have to stay here, at least request a room on the non-street side.

Our room was basic, but it was clean & very spacious; it had more than enough space for our luggage and shopping bags. Everything in the minibar was free & refilled daily. The staff were approachable & very eager to assist their guests. The property is a few steps away from the main train station, & there are several restaurants nearby. The old town area is about 10-15 minutes away on foot. I think that it's a very good budget hotel.
There was some road construction during our stay, so it was a bit chaotic walking to the Old Town. Although the area is relatively safe, I think the area is best for group stays.

Location was really close to the central station and there are lot of arabic restaurants. Lidl supermarket is available at 2 minutes walking distance. City sightseeing hop on hop off bus starts from the other side of the central station.

This hotel carries a cool vibe with decor throughout the property. Staff were friendly and accommodating. We loved how close we were to the main train station, easy to push luggage and no need for taxi. Breakfast was amazing and we enjoyed dinner menu.
Other transportation was required to explore Old Town. It appeared to be in an area where locals would hang out. Would not recommend walking to explore areas around hotel.

Mercure Center City is a very modern and well cared for property. My single room was very quiet, large, and comfortable (except… see below). The free mini-bar is an especially nice amenity. I didn’t try the hotel restaurant, but it seemed very popular.
The bathroom was surprisingly compact, with little shelf space and a frustratingly small shower. One tiny and very dim ceiling light over the sink made for a shadowy cave-like shaving experience. The location of the property makes for an easy walk to the old city and the northern museum district, and only a 10 min walk from the Munich Hbf train station. However the area itself is not especially pleasant—very dirty, cigarette butts everywhere (welcome to Munich), and sadly so many unhoused people.

Upon arriving we found the lobby very nice and staff friendly and welcoming. The Relax restaurant was amazing, breakfast choices were absolutely fantastic!
Our only complaint was our room was warm, AC wasn’t working well..
Upon entering room we thought it had no power.. little did we know we had to put key in slot for power ?Maintenance was called & informed us.. Didn’t we feel stupid.. and have a good laugh!
