Stayed three nights at this good hotel close to the hauptbahnhof. Didn't include breaky as I love the cheese baguettes at the train station. Easy walk to the altstadt. Room size good and beds comfortable. No noise issues, everything was good. We ate at the restaurant a couple of times and it was good, especially the potato salad! Waiting staff very nice.
People smoking at the front door, but that happens a lot in Europe. They are quite behind with not smoking near entrances.

The room was good, spacious and comfortable. The staff were polite and helpful. I reached the hotel around midday and was immediately given a room, which was great.
In spite of having the cooling system on full blast, I could not cool the room sufficiently to enable me to sleep. So I had a terrible night's sleep - perhaps 4 hours in total. So the main reason for choosing a comfortable and quality hotel - a good night's sleep - was futile. In the morning I was desperately tired. The breakfast was plentiful, but the cooked food was poor, and the muesli was awful.

Location was super close to the station. Lovely spacious room with free minbar and coffee machine - a very welcome surprise! Atmosphere felt friendly and relaxed, staff were helpful and welcoming. Lovely breakfast with lots of choice. Late checkout so no need to rush.

Staff were very friendly. Evening dinner was really good. Breakfast was fine
The A/C was not working. It wasn't broken either! When I rang reception on our 1st night to tell them our room was a sauna I was told that when the outside temp is 22c or less the A/C is programmed not to turn on. (What the room temp was didn't matter) I was told it was EU regulations which is false as EU has no such regs. The window would only open an inch. Housekeeping arrived with a fan which helped but kept knocking off every 2 hours so one of us had to get up to turn it back on. I didn't sleep at all as the room was unbearably hot. I complained at reception next morning and they said they would open the window fully in our room. This improved the heat situation but then we had outside noise. If a hotel says that A/C is available it should be available. Or they should state on their website the conditions they have in place in relation to A/C. We would not have booked this hotel knowing their policy in relation to A/C.

Very close to the Hauptbanhof so convenient for a short stay in the city. The room was clean and overall quiet. Lobby area and bar/ beer garden were pleasant. Staff were very pleasant Its a city centre hotel and at its price point as expected.
Room was a little tired (frayed lead on floor lamp) and some things suggested in booking were absent e.g. bathrobes and wine in room. Could do with a critical look at decor as there were just a few things not quite right. The spiral staircase whilst novel needed careful usage and better marking on the very bottom step.
