The bar was a pleasant location to meet family, the shower had instant hot water and the rain shower was wonderful. The Maritim makes it easy to indicate that a linen change is not necessary - as we were staying for just two nights fresh linen would have been wasteful. We didn't get to try the dining-room because when in Munich you visit Augustiner-Keller.
If I must state something I didn't like - the room was slightly too warm for an Irish person that hates heat.

One shirt staff member in front desk I believe from chin ( Asian). He is not qualified to be in front office to meet the gusts.

Breakfast they wanted 25 euro each which is a disgusting price. The hotel is in a bad area Red light, strip clubs etc with lots of men hanging around not a good area for woman to walk round.

Upon arrival we were greeted professionally by the receptionist who informed us of all necessary information and answered all questions. The room was of a good size and clean to a high standard. Although the breakfast had a limited choice this was more than compensated for by the quality of the food.
The swimming pool was a lovely addition, the area was clean , there were shower facilities with towels provided.
I upgraded from a 7 to a 8 because of the swimming pool which my children greatly enjoyed.
Two negative points , i thought the price of the room was on the high side , admittedly i did book late which might have been the reason.
The location of the hotel was close to the main train station so as with many major European cities the neigbourhood was not of a high standard with groups of men loitering in the area of the hotel. There was no harassment and i didn't feel threatened but i can imagine for a solo female traveler arriving at night it potentially could cause anxiety.

Location close to City, main station and lots of restaurants
Good public transport
Public parking in underground parking lot under the hotel.
Unfortunately many socially challenged people, fighting and yelling at each other in the area.
Piano bar generally nice and good service.
Only on the last evening we were permanently and very effectively ignored by the Barman with the pink glasses and the pink watch.
No smart TV. No screen mirroring, no apps, only normal channels

Proximity to central station, yet quiet. comfortable double rooms. appropriate check out time. All things good that a luxury hotel should have.
Somehow the staff gets overwhelmed pretty quickly. not able to handle the load of Oktoberfest. this shouldn't be the case as they already know about festival since many years now and how to handle it.
