The surrounding area, hiking, walking, swimming, etc.
The pictures advertised werent representative of what our actual room looked like. VERY SMALL ROOM and bathroom! My husband couldnt take a shower because the shower was too small. It was almost too small for me and I am 53, 110 pounds. For $300 we expected more.
The breakfast was disappointing; the fruit was spoiled and we didnt trust the meat. It was all kind of blah.

Solid breakfast with a nice ambiance and view of the lake. Friendly staff!
Be careful, in the fine print of the listing it says "Please note that due to celebrations (especially at weekends) guests can experience light disturbances at night." My experience with this is that the music from a party they were hosting was sufficiently loud that my family couldn't sleep until it stopped at 12:30am. I wish I had noticed their warning as I would have stayed elsewhere, so I wanted to highlight it here for other parents or light sleepers.

Quite good breakfast and nice location on the lake
Cleanliness (there were spiders in the room), the mattresses were sinking so much that the legs were touching the wood around the bed, there was no flush in the toilet so the water didn't run off the floor and the shower drain was clogged. There was no shampoo (only shower gel). There was no mini bar/kettle/coffee maker in the room. The menu in the restaurant was only in German with a rude response from the restaurant staff that I had to find a translator to read the menu. On the other hand the staff at the reception was very kind.

It was a really great place for the rest. The room was cleaned, and the bed was comfortable.
Train station is far away from this hotel, and it was only transportation to Munich.

The location was fantastic. Lakes, one on either side, forest, birds singing, just lovely. The food was great, although a bit expensive. Room was okay.
No heating. I was told it would come on "now", but it never happened. I finally managed to get a little electric heater. The actual heating was still not working in the morning.

the location is perfect. It is within easy reach of the A8 and just a five minute drive from the Lochhausen P&R and S3 into Mnchen. A very pleasant walk around the lakes can be had after a lovely meal.

Exceptional
We stayed here as part of a road trip around europe . The location is just on the outskirts of Munich but easily accessible via car or train . The location is wonderful , with long walks nearby and a lovely lake . The hotel is large and well equipped . The restaurant is a nice place to eat.
Staff were friendly throughout and assisted us throughout the stay. I would thoroughly recommend to stay here .
