Property was run by an absolutely wonderful and welcoming family. They took the time to tell us what to do, where to go, what to eat during our stay. Literally ask them anything and they will assist. All the staff I encountered spoke excellent English which made everything so much easier
Located in a safe neighborhood. Close to München Messe (5 mins drive and free shuttles provided during conference season) but about 20 mins to city by car. Perfect for conferences.
There are several grocery stores within 10-15 mins walking distance which is perfect as the rooms come with a fully equipped kitchen with all the utensils needed for simple dishes.
For the first time, the property actually looks like the pictures provided. It’s clean, cozy and spacious. No catfishing there.
Breakfast options are great as they provided halal options.. small selection but complete
Nothing

Hotel Kreis Residenz München deserves more than five stars! Our stay was exceptional in every aspect—from the facilities, breakfast, and location to the parking, customer service, and wonderful staff. What makes this hotel particularly special is that it is a family-run business, and you can truly feel the personal care and attention that comes with it. Every member of the family goes the extra mile to ensure that each guest feels welcomed, comfortable, and well taken care of.
The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options to suit different tastes. Mrs. Kreis was incredibly kind and attentive during breakfast, always greeting us warmly and making us feel right at home.
Mr. Kreis, the hotel owner, was exceptionally helpful throughout our stay. He provided us with valuable recommendations that helped us make the most of our time in Munich. He even took the time to give us excellent advice before our journey to the airport, which we greatly appreciated.

The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. I especially want to thank the male staff member who worked in the evening. He was extremely friendly, professional, helpful, and respectful throughout our stay. His attitude was completely different and he genuinely made us feel welcome.
Unfortunately, the female receptionist was the worst part of our stay. Her attitude was rude, unhelpful and unnecessarily difficult. At check-in, I offered the passports of all family members, but she declined to check them and raised no issue about the number of guests.
Later, she demanded an additional €180 for my two children, yet made no effort to offer a larger or more suitable accommodation. When I asked for her name to formally address the issue, she even refused to provide it, claiming her name was “private and personal information.”
I booked for 5 only because selecting 7 guests required booking 3 separate units, which was completely impractical for parents travelling with young children.
My advice to future guests: if possible, avoid dealing with this receptionist and ask for another staff member. Unfortunately, her attitude left a very negative impression of an otherwise good hotel.
