Cleanliness Good beds We choose this hotel simply because of location
No food offerings, no room service Train is passing every 5 minutes, rooms are not sound proof Construction site was opposite as well, therefore our night was not relaxing

Very Good
The location is quite convenient, within walking distance of the city centre, Marienplatz and many of Munich’s main attractions. Breakfast was perfectly adequate — nothing particularly memorable, but a decent selection. The breakfast staff, on the other hand, were genuinely lovely: friendly, attentive and welcoming throughout my stay.
The reception staff could have been a little more welcoming and attentive. Although I understand that early check-in is subject to availability, being offered a room within ten minutes for an additional €60 felt somewhat unnecessary. My initial room also had twin beds despite a double-bed request made months in advance, although this was eventually resolved. Finally, a heads-up about the underground disruptions affecting airport connections would have been appreciated.

Close to train station. Friendly staff.
Slightly dodgy area. Loud trams passing outside all night.

Poor
Near train station but not a good area. Breakfast was ok.
I booked a club room with courtyard view. I was given a very small room with a view of a large fire escape and car park. Reception staff would not help. No on site catering apart from breakfast, no sauna or spa. 4 star rating is chosen by hotel and not by an official agency. Shower was very small as was bathroom.

the only downside to this hotel is the noise from the trams; they run all night and can be really noisy in the rooms

Location good for travellers, especially for those coming from the airport, 10 min walk to/from airport bus station in city center and the railway station. 15-20 minutes walk to Marienplatz, but nice walk alongside beautiful park and monumental buildings.
