This boutique hotel is just a 3-minute walk from Munich Central Station. The elegant rooms come with a four-poster bed, a Nespresso coffee machine and a flat-screen TV. WiFi is available free of charge. Check-in and check-out takes place stuffless via a kiosk in the hotel lobby. Please note that cash payment is not possible. The KING's Hotel First serves a rich breakfast buffet. Our coworking coffee is ideal for the right vibe during your working hours. Modern workspaces later transform into a fancy bar. The location is quite convenient, within walking distance of the city centre, Marienplatz and many of Munich’s main attractions. Breakfast was perfectly adequate — nothing particularly memorable, but a decent selection. The breakfast staff, on the other hand, were genuinely lovely: friendly, attentive and welcoming throughout my stay.
The reception staff could have been a little more welcoming and attentive. Although I understand that early check-in is subject to availability, being offered a room within ten minutes for an additional €60 felt somewhat unnecessary. My initial room also had twin beds despite a double-bed request made months in advance, although this was eventually resolved. Finally, a heads-up about the underground disruptions affecting airport connections would have been appreciated.

Near train station but not a good area. Breakfast was ok.
I booked a club room with courtyard view. I was given a very small room with a view of a large fire escape and car park. Reception staff would not help. No on site catering apart from breakfast, no sauna or spa. 4 star rating is chosen by hotel and not by an official agency. Shower was very small as was bathroom.

Location good for travellers, especially for those coming from the airport, 10 min walk to/from airport bus station in city center and the railway station. 15-20 minutes walk to Marienplatz, but nice walk alongside beautiful park and monumental buildings.
