You know what to expect when you book Ibis - predictable and relatively comfortable. 10 min walk from the metro, 2 min walk from the tram. We had a quiet room facing the inner yard.
The rooms are always small and tiny (predicable as mentioned - it is ok), but having just 1 chair and no space even to seat properly for 2 people - very disappointing. Having a kettle would be great.

Close to the u2 line makes it easy to get around the city
Staff was unfriendly and never at the front desk when needed. Facilities in the room are behind the standard definitely disappointing.

The location is convenient, the premises are clean, and breakfast is satisfactory.
The door's locking mechanism malfunctioned, resulting in difficulty closing it. The shower floor presented a slip hazard due to the absence of a rubber mat.

The bed was comfortable and the room was as well equipped as you could wish for at this price. It is located right next to a busy road but the double glazing on the windows is good enough that noise isn't really an issue.
It was too warm in the room but this could probably be sorted by turning down the air conditioning.

Good localisation easy accessible by bus or train, close to the main market chain in Germany.
Pillow not confortable, and the bad was to soft IMO. AC didn't work properly. Bath soap was not replenished.

I arrived late due to my flight being slightly delayed, however the receptionists smile was there to welcome me. She had already had a busy day due to unexpected guests arriving (probably due to flights being stranded in MUC not being able to continue to LHR). The room was spacious and clean, the hotel had a small bar and a dining area for breakfast. They also had fridges for midnight drinks and snacks, very attentive! I had breakfast the first day but very disappointing, maybe I was late (10:00) but there was very little left and the welcome was very cold, colder ?? than the Bavarian mountains in January!!) the price didn’t help, €17 ??? Otherwise great stay, clean and comfy!
