Excellent location with access to public transportation. Many restaurants within walking distance.
Breakfast was overpriced, not enough seating at prime dining time. Suggest offering cheaper rates for extended stays.

We stayed here as an alternative when our plans for a different hotel fell through. I found it impressive to find availability on short notice during Oktoberfest. Ibis is a fairly reliable economical brand. The facilities were modern and clean. This area of the city is mostly served by trams which can take you to the Hbf. There is a tram stop right across the street. Access to the airport by S-bahn from Hackerbrücke is not difficult. Theresienwiese (Oktoberfest) is not far and easy to either walk or take a tram and then walk. In the evening during Oktoberfest the Hackerbrücke bridge is closed to traffic by the Polizei who monitor foot traffic to Oktoberfest here very closely. Other clientele at the hotel are mostly tourists there for Oktoberfest. Staff speaks English very well.
One note of caution when planning your trip, do not misjudge distances on the map. I made the mistake of thinking this hotel was close to the Hbf when in reality it is quite a walk when carrying luggage. At the time I did not realize it is easy to take a tram. The room itself is quite small and there was no kettle or coffee provided, although the desk did lend us a kettle when we asked. The bathroom has a frosted glass door which turns into a giant lantern if you use the bathroom during the night while others are trying to sleep. Make sure you know any travel companions pretty well because the bathroom is basically right next to the bed.

The stay was quite nice and the stuff very friendly, but what made me respond to the survey was the fact that the hotel has put in the effort to writte it in my native language Romanian. That shows me that you do go the extra step. Thank you!
PS. Can't wait for your hotel to be open in my hometown here in Romania. ?

When we arrived at the hotel, we quickly left our luggage in the storage room with the help of the receptionist and set out to explore the city. In the evening, we returned, checked in, and settled into our rooms. Everyone was cheerful and extremely helpful.
Looking at the map, the train station seemed quite close. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. However, we easily reached it using Bolt. We also had some trouble finding a place near the hotel to buy tickets for public transportation within the city. Of course, these aren’t about the hotel itself—just useful things for visitors like us to keep in mind.

Wonderful
Ibis is definitely my favorite hotel chain. I've been having a consistently great experience with Ibis hotels across Europe. And this one is no exception. The location is excellent, quite close to the Munich central train station as well as to the bus station. I really enjoy the familiarity of Ibis hotels, so the interiors and rooms look almost identical wherever you go. Will choose this one again next time I am in Munich.
The noise insulation could be slightly better. There were louder neighbors one night and I could hear quite a lot. I was also missing a fridge in the room.

Restaurant closes at 10 pm. We were starving when we arrived and it is close. We slept starving. The parking place is very expensive
