We loved staying here - the location and the room are great, we got a warm welcome while checking in and the maintenance and cleanliness are top-notch at the property. Breakfast was really amazing too! We hope to return again sometime.

Newly done-up property, nicely decorated. We had a quiet room with a spacious bathroom. Breakfast was really good and staff were very friendly. Great value for money.
It was a touch too far from public transport. The bedroom was a little small for being superior. No bottled water in the bedroom and no fridge.

beautifully updated building that is modern but maintains character. very comfortable room, spacious and well designed bathroom. can’t get a better location as it’s close to the central train station and oktoberfest entrance. excellent breakfast! very helpful staff as well and we were even able to check in early!
i loved everything! wish it had been less expensive but i understand because it was high oktoberfest demand pricing.

This is a property that was built as home/mansion in the late 1800's and converted to a hotel in the 1950's. Great architecture. It appears they have recently renovated, but the furnishings are bare bones. All hardwood floors except for bath room. No rugs. I suspect they go bare bones because the Oktoberfest is just a few blocks away. Staff very friendly. Front desk helped us arrange a taxi for morning pick-up to the airport. Breakfast buffet very nice. Altho the only eggs I saw were hard/soft boiled. Many restaurants in walkable distance.
Pillows too soft. Almost like sleeping with head directly on the bed. Duvet! I think the hotel industry worldwide has gone to this blanket, but I hate them. They can be too hot and heavy. Why don't they offer a regular blanket for those who want it. TBH I did not ask for one. I had asked at all 3 places we stayed earlier in the vacation and they looked at me like I had 3 eyes.

The hotel is in a quiet location, which was great for a relaxing stay, while still offering easy access to the U-Bahn, making it convenient to explore the city. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was decent, although the choice was somewhat limited and it would have been nice to have some hot options available.
Unfortunately, there were a few aspects of our stay that could have been better. The mattresses were too firm and squeaked like rubber whenever anyone turned over during the night, which disturbed our sleep. The pillows were also far too soft.
There was very limited comfortable seating in the room. With only one chair and wooden benches, it would have been nice to have cushions on the benches or, ideally, a comfortable sofa where we could relax after a long day exploring the city.
For a suite, I would also have expected complimentary bottled water to be provided as standard.
Breakfast was a little disappointing, as there were no hot food options available and the overall choice was somewhat limited for our tastes.
With a few improvements to the room's comfort and a greater variety of breakfast options, the overall guest experience could be significantly enhanced.

Per booking.com description it indicated there were laundry facilities when there wasn’t. This was done off site at a cost.

Hotel Uhland was exceptional. The location for our trip to Oktoberfest was perfect, the Wiesn was literally at the end of the road. Every member of staff we encountered was cheery and welcoming. The breakfast was exactly whet we needed after a day in the tents to set us up for another!
I would not hesitate to recommend Hotel Uhland to anyone visiting Munich.
