The breakfast was excellent.
The hotel seems to be a converted apartment building. Our window faced the courtyard with a view of the trash cans. The biggest issues were the poor soundproofing and the constant buzzing of guests at the entrance every time someone arrived at night. The apartment doors are paper-thin, and the ground floor is incredibly noisy.

We arrived in the morning, before check-in time. It was very disappointing that we were not allowed to wait in the lounge for the check-in time (after long night-flight) and needed to go outside find something, on a rainy day.

Everything! The location was perfect. Walking distance to the center, yet away from the hustle and bustle. Le room was perfect. So lovely to come back to such a clean and well maintained room after a long day outside. The gentleman at the front desk was the kindest person we met on our 10 day long trip. What a gentleman! The breakfast was abundant and fresh! A perfect stay. We will definitely visit again!
Unfortunately, in complete opposition to the rest of the experience, the two breakfast ladies were not kind. Abrupt and rude, our (all guests) presence alone seemed to bother them. They would pick up the plates in such a noisy way that simply made it uncomfortable for us. Our German being soso we addressed them in English and the reaction we obtained was very unkind. I must point out that the following morning there was an additional lady with a young man handling breakfast that were quite kind. So we took refuge in addressing our requests to them.
It’s just a pity. Such a perfect place aside from the breakfast welcome :/

Beautiful rooms in a stunning hotel a 20 minute walk from the old town. The style is pared back grandeur, where the panelling of the room is painted in rich blues and the huge windows let in lots of light. The breakfast was lovely with lots of variety from meats to yoghurts to loads of fresh fruit.
If I am being super picky, the towels could have been larger and the pillows firmer

Hotel is really cozy, when you arrive you think that you are living like a movie. Is really well maintained, rooms are well decorated with high end forniture and specially the service is top. Staff is very friendly and always ready to help
