We were very disappointed with our stay. The Superior Room was extremely outdated, with old, worn-out furniture and very basic amenities. The room overlooked the parking lot, which was also disappointing considering the price we paid. For such an expensive room, you would at least expect well-maintained. Instead, both the bedroom and the bathroom felt neglected and poorly maintained. Everything looked tired and in need of renovation. We raised our concerns with the reception staff, both at check-in and again the following day. On both occasions, we were told that there are different styles of Superior Rooms and that some have a "classic" design. We explained that a classic style is not the same as a poorly maintained room with heavily worn, outdated furniture. Unfortunately, the only response we received was that they were sorry, but there was nothing they could do to help. Overall, the room did not reflect the standard or value you would expect at this price point. It was significantly overpriced for what was offered, and we left feeling very disappointed.

Great location, very nice comfortable room and bed, friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast in lovely breakfast room. Very clean. Elegant decor. It's a great hotel and not too big. Traditional Bavarian brought up to date.

Location is excellent for tourism. It's right at the start of old town area. A lot of sites to see, different types of restaurants/cafes/pubs etc. Breakfast spread was excellent. A lot of fresh fruit and variety of cheese. It's very old building with a long history but very tastefully upgraded and decorated. Carpets are clean and the whole place looks elegent.
On the first day of our arrival the A/C wasn't working. Being a Sunday there was n one to attend to it. There was another couple who had the same issue since the day before. There were no fans or coolers but I took the fan cooler for the Reception area to catch a few hours of uncomfortable sleep. Next day they changed our room with a functioning A/C.
