The location is excellent—a very good neighborhood, very close to the old town. The metro is right next to the hotel, but it's also very quick to walk there. Very friendly staff.

Location - perfect. Less than 10 minutes away by foot from the "old town", but far enough away that there are considerably fewer tourists around. Metro station is right next to the hotel. Room - great, maybe a little bit too tight. The bed was comfortable. Adequate storage space in a large wardrobe. No air conditioning, but a portable fan is installed. Service - perfect! Everyone was polite, helpful and welcoming. Tasty, high quality breakfast. (Muesli, yoghurt, bread and cold cuts) All in all, an amazing option if you want a comfortable, hassle free stay with a little bit of 19th century feel to it!
The bathroom is rather compact and there is a little bit of wear and tear noticable on the sink and the shower.

Very friendly staff. Breakfast in the garden. The general atmosphere of the building and rooms. Nice little square with restaurants nearby.
I was only in Munich for 1 night and the hotel seemed to be located near the/a business district which hampered a feeling of 'connection' with the city. Probably not an issue if you have more time to explore.

A nice property in a good location on the edge of Altstadt. A U-bahn station (Lehel) is also close by. The staff were welcoming and helpful.
When we visited in August the weather was hot. There was no A/C in the room so it was very warm. Two fans had been placed in the room which made it cooler/more comfortable. There’s no fridge and no tea/coffee making facility (although this latter item doesn’t seem to be unusual the hotels?).

Quiet location close to English Garden but easy walk to old centre. Clean and comfortable rooms.
