Excellent location in quiet area. Close to tram stop so very easy for getting about if required. Walk to Marienplatz only 10mins though. Likewise to the English Garden Staff very pleasant and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble. Loved the style of the hotel, large room and high ceilings. The library was very relaxing - had some great conversations with other travellers.

Small but nice room. One can open the doors to a balcony which I like. Very clean and good bathroom. Very good breakfast and very friendly staff. Very close to U Bahn.
Beds are firm but not that long.

Clean, nice atmosphere, comfortable room, great staff and excellent location. Can walk to old town Munich. Subway just across the street.

Room was nice and spacious and clean. I just think the shower/bath combination can be dangerous for elderly people. The Hotel location is good, close to shops and restaurants. The breakfast was very nice, quite a variety to chose from.

Some work was being done on the breakfast patio, but it’s reasonable to do it when we stayed in the shoulder season.

Very nicely decorated rooms with bookshelves and classical furniture. The overall feel of the hotel is quite pleasant, we liked the library room where you can have a drink in the evening. The room is not very large, but the bed is super comfortable. Have to be a bit careful to the heating, as during the night it can get hot quite fast even with the thermostat set on 2.
Room could do with a tea kettle.
