Family-run for over 100 years and a 3-minute walk from Marienplatz and the Viktualienmarkt Market, this charming, nonsmoking hotel in central Munich offers free WiFi and traditional Bavarian breakfasts. Great to be downtown at night. Also, great restaurant connected to it next door. Served food until midnight. Night host was friendly and helpful.

We only stayed one night at Hotel Schlicker, but it was wonderful! The staff were very friendly. Rooms and main spaces were very clean and well designed. And the location could not have been more perfect, especially for our short time in the area. Several main attractions are located within walking distance of 5-10 minutes — Marienplatz and the Glockenspiel are literally down the block. Hofbrauhaus and the historic vendor market (which is a must) were only a few blocks away. We had a very early check-out (05:00) and the staff packed us a box lunch since we would be missing breakfast. Very thoughtful and we were grateful for the good food to enjoy on the way to the airport. Thank you Hotel Schlicker!

This hotel is a superb choice given its perfect location. Just steps away from the city’s main square. Such a good choice to discover Munich on foot. And no words for breakfast: absolutely amazing! I will stay there again if I ever go back.

Location is right on the money! a step away from the main Marian Plaza. Rooms are small but clean and well maintained. They have city bikes for guest's use with no extra charge, which make day trips amazing.
In-room coffee and tea are not complementary (which is fine), but come in a sealed bag with different things inside you you have to take a package. I didn't use it eventually...

The position is fantastic: attached to Marienplatz and the main tourist locations in the city center. There are plenty of Biergarten and Restaurants in the area. The staff have been very kind and it was a perfect stay. The internal courtyard and the attention to details

Great location, clean hotel, lovely staff. Parking was easy and convenient and reasonably priced (with a reservation).
We were in the 5th floor of the back building and had to take the stairs from the 4th floor to the 5th. That is the only bad thing I can say about the entire stay.

They need a style update; the room had an annoying red-orange carpet with clashing burgundy drapes. The staff is all business- not a particularly friendly group except for the dining staff.

This is a wonderful hotel in a fantastic location. Rooms are small but very comfortable. The windows when closed completely block out the street noise. The breakfast buffet was superb. Great choices. The staff are so professional and friendly in the hotel. Tamara looked after us at check in and she was so helpful and friendly. The staff at breakfast were the same. We were lucky to be able to reserve a parking space on the hotel.

Excellent, historic place in the heart of Munich. Best place to stay and explore the city. Parking possibility in the courtyard is an advantage. The hotel offers bikes free of charge so we have visited city using them. Very rich breakfast buffet and very helpfull staff, especially guy from Afghanistan. The hotel has the best in class windows noise protection so there is completely quite inside even the room is located at the street side. I strongly recommend the place
