The hotel was comfortable and well-priced. Its location is perfect for exploring the historic part of Munich. Staff were pleasant and efficient, and breakfast was excellent. The air conditioning in the room was much appreciated due to the very hot weather.

Clean and updated room and bath. Clean hallways, entry, breakfast area. Pleasant and helpful staff. Breakfast selection was very impressive, made for a great way to start the day.
HVAC was not the easiest to operate, but that is a very minor point.

I love the convenience of the hotel to the old town including the market and from marienplatz you can travel anywhere in munich taking in the sites of such a beautiful city .hotel schlicker gives you the opportunity to get a true feeling for the people and culture in the heart of the city.
My room seemed a tiny bit small compared to my past visits though this might be an illusion from furniture placement in this room .. my best explanation would be sitting at the desk the space between chair and bed felt a little tight , having to move the chair every time you stand up to move around the room .
