Breakfast was excellent. The Lehel neighborhood is the best neighborhood in Munich. I would want to live there. It’s close to the center of Munich.

Staff were great. Located in a very nice quiet neighbourhood with lots of coffee shops. Lobby and courtyard were charming. Breakfast was very good.
The decor in the room was truly awful. It looked like a bordello with bright yellow carpet and mirrored walls. No air con.

Wonderful
This exquisite boutique hotel is situated within walking distance of the designer shops in Maximillian Strasse, the old town and market, the opera house and the extensive English Gardens.
They only provide breakfast, which is served to your table, and you can almost sit anywhere you like to eat it.
The hotel has a restaurant just up the road, but we didn't have time to try it.
All rooms are decorated with a different theme. We had the 'Chinese' room. The adjoining bathroom has everything you need but is small, that's the only reason I have not given the highest rating.
All the staff are lovely- you only have to ask!

Loved the look and quality of the property and we will go back!
Our room was tiny. Really tiny. We now know that the hotel will allow us to choose a particular room and when we go back, we will do that. Our room was 47. It had a nice terrace but the bathroom and the shower were shockingly tiny. The room would have been okay for one small person but not for a couple.

Hotel Opera is your perfect Munich hideaway when traveling. Beautifully appointed. Perfectly located. Tucked away in the Lehel neighborhood, Hotel Opera is a secret meant to be shared. No chaotic breakfast buffets, but a white-table cloth fruhstuck. Comfortable rooms. Lots of hot water. Sound-sleeping beds. And superbly attentive, knowledgeable staff.

Staff! Helpful, patient and just made our stay. Breakfast is cooked to order and very nice. Lovely setting too downstairs and in the courtyard.
The rooms are dated. Clean and kept well. But they need to start thinking about updating the rooms and beds.

Very nice staff, room was very clean, breakfast was very good, although a "help yourself" service would be more convenient
The noise! I had a front room, and although the street was extremely quiet, at very early hours (I mean, 4:30, 5:00 am) there was some annoying noise from I don't know what. Also the room had no sound isolation, so I could perfectly hear my neighbor having a shower. At 6am. On a Sunday. Not pleasant.
