The location was very nice and the room very clean.
Some of the rooms had a door that lead to external staircase. These rooms were not secured at all. First we were given such a room, but the staff was nice to change the room to one more clasic with a small balcony. The room didn't had enough lighting and the only lamp was close tot the floor and near the bed and you would always hit your head in it. The toilet and shower had only one shared door. No free coffee

Great location and the ability to park was also great, although you cannot have any kind of low car as you will scratch the under part of your car on the steep entry drive into the parking and also the tray parking spots. The rooms are a good size and beds are comfy.
It was busy when we were there so it was quite noisy but its a hotel, not your own home, so a bit of noise is to be expected. I wasn't a fan of the toilet/shower door share and the toilet always had a bit of a smell. Really would need a fridge in the room.

There was no parking available on arrival, and I had to drive around for nearly an hour to find a spot, then walk back to the hotel in the rain. The property should have clearly mentioned the limited parking capacity in advance or included it in the description.

Excellent services and a great location. The all-you-can-eat Continental Breakfast was delicious, and the staff was helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay at Hotel Gio again!

Funky, fab rooms and very quiet. Breakfast was excellent and lovely alfresco dining space. Front service staff were great ( shout out to Toby). Great for our visit for Oktoberfest. Loved it!
We knew we were paying a premium for Oktoberfest and the proximity to the Weisen.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, they gave us a terrace room so that it would be easier for our two dogs! The location was nice, a short walk from loads of places to eat or grab coffee. The room itself was really nice and comfortable.
Although it wasn't much of a problem for us, the car park is unusual and there isn't much headroom, making it hard to open the boot all the way. However it was easy to access and the staff explained it well so it wasn't an issue.

Disappointing
Not much.
The room wasn't cleaned once during our time there, even though we asked it to be. Every day we emptied our own trash and had to ask for clean towels. When I politely complained, the lady at the desk stated that we the hotel staff has a comunications problem... We commented on day two that the shower leaked onto the foyer floor and on day three that there was a sewage smell form the tiolet. The staff stated that they would address the problem -- nothing was ever done.
