The hotel is wonderful. The staff was super friendly and spoke great English since our German was not great. The room and the bed were very comfortable. The bathroom had the most amenities we had encountered on our trip. The hotel restaurant had fantastic food and great service. The hotel is located very close to the Englisher Garden.
When we arrived the restaurant at the hotel was very busy so all the outside parking was full. The hotel has an underground parking garage but it is very small and hard to get in and out of the parking spots with a slightly larger vehicle.

The staff were charming and could not do enough for you. The area was quiet with long country walks in the famous Englischer Garten. The hotel is a short walk to the tram terminus for trams to the centre of Munich and connections with the underground. The rooms are large and well equipped and each floor has a nice seating area as well as the seating areas in the conservatory and garden terrace. The restaurant is in a separate building next door and is very, very good whilst maintaining the traditions of Bavarian food culture. I really felt welcomed here. There is free parking and cycle/ pedestrian paths all the way through the Englischer Garten to the centre of Munich. Great for my dog.
The room decor was mainly pine and might be considered a little old fashioned but I suppose it depends on the type of person you are (shallow), if you think this will ruin your holiday.

I would say this is a true Bayerisch gem, where generosity is woven into every aspect of their service. On top of the overall cleanliness and hospitality, there is not a single thing I would think of which could lower my gratitude and review. Parking garage? No problem. Pets are no problem. Comfortable beds? Yes. Clean bathroom? True. Good shower pressure? Indeed. Traditionally dressed personnel? Even that. And food? Their restaurant is a separate service and just few meters from the hotel and is such a success among locals that if you don't place a reservation, you'll be left hungry. What else is good? Beer. I will come back.

How come that there are no cameras at the parking place? Our car was hit and they couldn’t help us because they have no camera at the parking place of the hotel..

Very clean and comfortable hotel in a quiet area next to the English Garden. My room was cleaned every day and the fresh fruit in my room was replenished every day too. The staff were friendly and helpful. I stayed in a superior single room which was a really good size with a small table and chair in it as well as a good sized wardrobe and dressing table. It is outside of the centre but the tram is only a short couple of minutes walk away and being out of the centre makes it very quiet. I will definitely stay here again when visiting Munich.
Nothing really but if I had to choose something I would say the absence of a smart TV, as the only channels were German. But then I was in Germany so can’t really complain.
