Disappointing
Location, because is close to where I live. The room was booked for my parents.
We booked a room in the annex building, and the room they gave to my parents, who are over 75 years old, was on the second floor without an elevator. Access to the annex building room involves crossing a corridor between the restaurant and the dining room. It is very food-smelling and noisy. It is not according to a 4-star hotel. When I expressed my concerns during the check-out, after they asked about our stay, the staff in the lobby was really unfriendly and told me it was my fault for not reading carefully. The fact of not having elevator on the access to the room is on the facilities list of the room but in the general description of the hotel it clearly says the hotel has an elevator. For sure, this will be the first and last time I will book my parents this hotel for a visit.

Pleasant garden hotel, a little bit far from the city center but tram 17 could be your best friend. Exceptional service, clean room, and I really like the Clarins products they used!

Breakfast was good!
We requested a late checkout (with an extra charge). The reception confirmed 16:00 checkout for €70. However, at checkout they informed us that the actual cost was 70% of an extra night, which was over €200. This left us feeling misled, as the original explanation was unclear and very different from what we were charged.

Traditional and historical hotel and restaurant. Food quality was excellent! Please book restaurant in advance because it is very popular. This hotel is 25 minutes to Munich Airport

This is a nice hotel, with a very luxurious feel. The breakfast was exceptionally nice, like a Grand Hayatt but more special. There is also a fancy restaurant that local (!) aristocracy frequents, but we were unfortunately too busy to try it out.
Many hotels that you find in Munchen are concentrated in the area around the train station, and if you are looking for something else this is a really nice option, the neighboorhood is residential and quiet. The only downside is that it is extremely far from S-bahn and so your only option is the number 17 tram. Even bycicling there from city center is half an hour at least. We were ok with that, but most of the guests here are coming with their own car.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was clean and cozy, the personel super helpful and friendly, and the location calm and beautiful. The breakfast had a wide array of delicious fresh foods, and the hotel restaurant had a really good crispy chicken dish, and good wine. Lovely atmosphere all over and would definitely go back.
The only complaint could be on the beds, where the matress was a bit hard/uncomfortable.

Great location at the northern part of the English garden. The Restaurant “ Freisinger Hof” is excellent. Hotel provides free bike rentals.
Rooms a very small, there is NO air conditioning in the rooms. Bathrooms are outdated.
