Exceptional
The friendly and helpful staff especially at the reception. The hotel room was very beautiful and clean. The interior was quite something. Topping it up with the perfect location, close to everything was a plus. Definitely my favorite hotel in München.

Large room, quirky decor, lovely staff.
Was a very hit room with aircon badly positioned. The noise of light rail and the unsafe feeling of the area around the hotel.

The property was the only one during trip that was "old school" - dual knobs instead of single lever in the sink, shower curtain not glass door, bar soap, one time use shampoo. Felt dated at first but by day 2 felt more charming. YMMV.
No AC. Was OK because whether was cooperative. But could be uncomfortable during the summer.

Good room, close to public transport and the main city attractions.
It was difficult to get a meal (booking ) in the hotel restaurant and one of the female staff in the bar was always unfriendly. There was no cook to order breakfast on the weekend and the breakfast area was ridiculously hot.

breakfast was reasonable and hotel very central. Staff were also helpful and friendly.
Room was poorly lit, decoration very out of date, bed was small, the bathroom ok but shower poor. Room was very noisy so had to keep window shut and there was no AC. There was not even room for a desk in my bedroom so no where to work. The hotel was not what I expected for £350 a night. I would have expected to pay more like £175 a night for that quality not £350. Maybe it was much higher prices than normal due to Oktoberfest. There were NO facilities in the hotel. Just a room and breakfast.

Worn furniture, bathroom floor dirty with visible drops on it. Room wasn’t reached by elevator alone and involved carrying luggage up a flight of stairs. Water temperature in shower not regulated, tub didn’t drain. Parking off site expensive.
