Location.
Although a well appointed and classy themed renovation, we found the room to be a bit dark with the floor to ceiling wood paneling a bit claustrophobic (but certainly was clean and met our needs). The in room mini-fridge BARELY cooled items, and a polite request to check functionality was not addressed. We also visited during an unusually warm period, and the lack of air conditioning was a bit uncomfortable, but a ceiling fan over the bed made it mostly tolerable at night.

The staff.
There is no air conditioning system. You have to sleep while windows open. And cross to hotel there is a disco. Until the morning the outaide was noisy. I could not sleep even 1 hour.

All the staff were really friendly and helpful, particularly a new male staff member who working at reception in the evenings (didn’t get his name), who was really lovely! The hotel is very clean and the theme of the hotel is very quirky and fun.
There was no AC, which I’m sure would be fine for most of the year, but it was especially hot in my small room, especially in the bathroom as there is no ventilation. However, they do give you a bit fan in the room which helps a little.

It is a pretty hotel, inside, they tried to make it reflect old fashioned trains like the Orient Express
The mini fridge was not very cool at all. We asked them to look at it but nothing was done to fix it
The tap water in the bathroom sink went scalding hot and would not go cold
They supplied an electric kettle and 2 coffee cups but no coffee.
They used plastic cups and lots of little soaps and such in the bathroom sink went- not good for the environment

Large comfortable sleeping room and bathroom [king suite] - we needed to relax and get over jet lag. Very nice front desk team.
Nothing - its a clean and comfortable mid=range hotel.

The hotel was very clean and nicely decorated. We really enjoyed the train theme!
We did not see that there was no AC when booking, and since it was the end of June, we were quite hot and it was difficult to sleep. The staff were very nice and gave us an extra fan (the room came with one already), which we appreciated!

Its breakfast was too expensive for a continental breakfast, so we found a nearby pancake cafe that offered hot food more economically.
The train motif was fun and carried out well.
We had a large room with a ceiling fan, but the weather was quite warm during our stay. An additional fan that could be moved would have been nice to cool the sitting area.

Breakfast was good but very expensive. Booking indicated it was included and it was not.
We had the bunk bed room - and climbing to the top bunk should not be attempted by an adult. The ladder rungs are far too narrow and the attachment to the bed is a bit scary for anyone more than 100 pounds.
