The hotel was easily accessible from the main train station and was also close to the Karlsplatz station which had a direct S-train to the airport when we departed. Easily walkable to most central sights.
We were welcomed warmly by front desk staff and throughout our stay all staff members we encountered were exceptional.
The room was spacious and bright and the sofabed was made up as requested. The sofabed was located away from the main bed so it provided a small degree of privacy.
The room was very clean and quiet as it was located away from the street. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. There was also a large fan provided for extra cooling and air circulation in the room. We appreciated the complimentary water, tea and coffee provided Nice shower with good pressure and plenty of hot water.
Overall, we were happy we found this hotel. It was a great value for a hotel that is so centrally located.
The room decor was slightly dated. The lights would flicker or have a power surge when someone turned on the light in the bathroom. We did not complain about this as it was a fairly minor inconvenience.
As others have mentioned the area immediately around the hotel is not the best but it is typical of a major city near a train station. we never felt unsafe.

This is a very basic facility. No restaurant, bar or breakfast offered. Sketchy part of town. Really nothing to write home about.

Location was great! Lots of restaurants nearby and is a lively place
The A/C was not working. I specifically looked for a hotel with A/C and this didn’t work on these super hot nights.
When I called the reception, I was told there is only one A/C unit for the entire building and takes lot of time to cool down. They provided a standing fan as we couldn’t sleep because of the heat!
The head shower didn’t work and the hair dryer didn’t work either.

It is a short walk via a pedestrian only street to the city center of Marienplatz. Lots of shops along the way. This hotel was a great value and no need to pay double to be closer to the city center.
Breakfast buffet would be nice!

We were received by a friendly greeting, and quickly shown to our room. Despite hot temperatures outside our room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed being close to the train station and being able to walk to Marianplatz.

Very friendly staff. Rooms had everything you would need. Nice shower area. Airco was quiet. Location extremely central and very close to train station.
I had a room at the streetside (Bayerstrasse). Although there is double glazing in the windows, you can still clearly hear the cable cars that run to even after 1AM. If you are a very light sleeper, consider asking a room at the inner courtyard.

Asked them to change room but they didnt allow it and asked for refund but they refused

Room was comfortable and adequate. Location was only a short walk to Marienplatz, and central to subway system. Staff was friendly and helpful. Was glad to have an elevator.
Room was rather odd in that it was in the attic of the property, and about a third of it was unusable space due to the sloping ceiling. Room decor was unimpressive. Mattress was almost too firm.

The hotel was conveniently located close to Karlsplatz station and close to many food options. It was only a 12 minute walk to the city centre. The room itself was very spacious and included a fridge and complimentary bottled water.
The lady at the front desk that checked me in answered all my questions and was the sweetest. She told me which areas to avoid as a female travelling alone and gave me plenty of details for how to get to the airport the following day.

We only stayed one night at Hotel Bayer's, but it was a great experience. The hotel is located directly across from Munich's main train station, making it incredibly convenient, especially for easy access to the airport. It's also just a 15-minute walk to the Old Town, which was perfect for a short visit.
The room was spacious, clean, modern, and very quiet, ideal for a restful night after a day of travel. Also every hotel staff we interacted with was super friendly and kind, which made our brief stay even more enjoyable. We hope the team enjoyed the Tim Tam biscuits we left at reception as a small thank you :)
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay in Munich

location was very helpful for public transportation and dining. front desk staff helpful and friendly
layout of the bathroom was awkward. Shower basically in the center of the room. Toilet paper dispenser too far from the toilet.
