In spring 2016, the whole lobby was renovated, a new elevator was built, and the breakfast room was newly designed. Guests begin the day in Antares’ modern breakfast room with a great variety of food. Hotel Antares München is a 1-minute walk from the Amalienstraße bus stop, which is on the Museum bus line. Odeonsplatz Underground Station is a 6-minute walk away, and is just 1 stop from Marienplatz Square. A small underground car park with a duplex parking system and a car elevator is available at the Antares for a fee. Reservation is not possible; the lower the car is the better.

Wonderful
The staff was amazing, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Parking was perfect and affordable, directly located under the hotel. Location was ideal to everything - the Residence, Embassies, and the English garden, not to mention the Ubahn. Excellent food choices nearby. The small garden at the hotel was a nice Oasis. Breakfast room was comfortable and bright with good options.
The only small comment I have was that the walls are quite thin and you can hear the TV from the next room. But guests were respectful of noise and the hotel was really quiet from 11pm onwards. For such an urban setting it is a quiet hotel overall!

Great location, walkable to the city center. A few minutes away there is a metro. Hotel offers great brekfast, lots of options. The staff was very helpful and polite.
The pillow is not very comfortable, but everyone has their own preferences.

Nice breakfast that was included. Super clean room and great location. The staff were really helpful and friendly.
Maybe tea/coffee in the room, but that would probably also make it crowded.

The staff was extremely helpful, nice and spoke English very well! The breakfast was an amazing well balanced selection. It was about a 20min walk to many of the major attractions. It was about a 7min walk to the entrance of the U-Bahn. It was a quiet part of Munich, off the major streets. Highly recommend this place!
The room was quite smaller than the picture could portray. Not a deal breaker for me and my husband though. The major thing for me was the fact that the pillows had nothing to them. My husband loved them but I did not.
