Disappointing
Breakfast was decent, staff had good knowledge of allergerns.
Good location and access to public transport.
Nice amount of space in the room.
Upon arrival, we were given a room that differed from the one we had originally booked. Unfortunately, we didn't realise this at the time, as we were exhausted from our flight and went straight to the room to sleep. When the issue was raised, the hotel staff blamed me for not notifying them sooner, rather than taking responsibility for the booking discrepancy. The issue was eventually resolved after contacting Booking.com, and we received a refund of approximately 10% of the booking. However, the way the situation was handled left a bad impression and soured our overall stay.
The cleanliness of the room was also a concern. My wife and I both experienced sinus issues while inside the room, which noticeably improved when we were outdoors. While I cannot say for certain what caused this, it raised concerns about the cleanliness of the room.
Overall, the mishandling of the room booking issue and concerns about cleanliness made for a disappointing experience. We would have expected better service and accommodation for the price paid.

Very Good
Decent location close to center.
No phone in room. No knowledegable staff onsite after 3pm. No staff at all after 11pm. No smart TV and TV was tiny. All this unacceptable for a 4-star hotel.

Really great value for money; had everything we needed and staff were friendly and speedy to work with. Neighborhood was very quiet and super central but also more residential, which we loved.

Wonderful
The hotel is centrally located (Isidore area) and is within walking distance of the city center such as the Viktualienmarkt (Munich's farmer's market) and Marien Platz (location of the famous Rathaus-Glockenspiel a 13 mns walk from the hotel). Public transportation is nearby, We stayed in room 302. This is a comfortable small room with a king size bed. In hindside I would have upgraded our room for a larger one to accommodate the size of luggage we had. We managed. Wi-Fi reception in the room was terrible but perfect in the lobby. Breakfast is terrific! Wonderful selection of savory and sweet items (cold cuts and cheeses, savory toppings, varied Bavarian breads, a super granola bar, home baked cakes and Nutella (of course!). This is not your typical boring hotel breakfast. Some savory items change daily which is appreciated. You can make a meal out of it. Best of all is the friendly and helpful staff. Don't forget to leave a tip in the piggy bank by the front desk when leaving the hotel. The staff deserves it. In all, a nice stay! Thanks.

Good
Purchased a river view room and the room was on the top floor/roof level. That means the river view really wasn't as it had one rooftop window. And with the angle of the roof it also limited headroom. All that being said, I think I paid too much.

This hotel was charming, exceptionally clean, convenient yet quiet location and staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and offered a nice outdoor garden area to dine. This is one of these hotels where we wished we had more days to stay.

Wonderful
Loved the friendly staff who were always there to answer questions and help out. It was very kind of the hotel to switch us to a bigger room at no additional charge when they found out that we had a lot of luggage due to a wedding we were going to. Exceptional breakfast with a really friendly service. The hotel was walking distance to the center of Munich which was also wonderful. We wanted a small hotel with air conditioning. Some other hotels in the neighborhood didn't have air conditioning and in the heat of the summer it was really nice to come home and relax in a cool hotel.
When we arrived we had to leave our luggage at the hotel since we were a bit early. It would have been nice to be shown downstairs. We had no idea that there was a reception room on the other side of the check-in desk where we could have sat down to catch our breath and also see the lovely dining area that opens to a garden. This is not a criticism just a helpful suggestion to the staff to show off the lovely space on the other side of the lobby.

Wonderful
Location is perfect 5 min walking from underground station Isartor (40 min train to airport) and 12 min from Marienplatz (historical city center). It is a small hotel located in a quiet lateral street, no noise, no traffic. Staff at reception and at breakfast was very polite and cooperative. I took a superior room, it looked freshly refurbished, super clean, desk, chair, armchair and space available, many sockets to plug PC, recharge telephone and iPad. Very good experience.

Location was great, walking distance from the old town on a quiet street. Room is very large and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely with a pretty internal garden. And AC was great! We were pleasantly surprised.
We arrived at about 11pm and front desk and hotel door were closed. We called the emergency number er and were instructed on how to enter. This was resolved quickly but did cause a few minutes of inconvenience and stress upon arriving late at night.

Evening staff were extremely kind and helpful! Good location in a quiet street and walking distance to Marienplatz and main attractions. A lot of nice restaurants in the same street. Very cosy and charming garden for breakfast with a wide variety of food…
Internet connection was not good in one of the rooms. Luckily we have booked 2 rooms so we had to use the wifi in one of them.
One of the morning staff member was quite unfriendly when reminding us to check out on time. We understand the check-out policy, but we would have appreciated a kinder and more respectful approach.
