This is our 4th or 5th stay at the Hilton Munich City and it’s my go to stop while I am in Munich.
There was nothing negative to report. The staff as always was outstanding and accommodating.

Location.
Outrageous pricing vs value. Breakfast was a shambles of nowhere to sit, long queues for self service machine coffee and dirty tables. If you're paying 500 a night for a basic room then you expect a little more in amenities and comfort. The whole Hilton experience is now focused on Honors members and not casual guests.

Great location, walking distance to the city centre (Marienplatz) plus super convenient to have the train station (trains to airport) accessible from within the hotel lobby. Beds and room were overall comfortable, even if the room was not very well cleaned
Cleanliness was a slight issue - the towels in the bathroom didn't smell great, and the room didn't seem to have been cleaned very well either (there were a couple of paper clips on the floor). Overall quite expensive for the basic amenities the room provides

Slightly bigger room compared to rooms of same category in other hotels. Many Asian food options around. Supermarkets opposite hotel.
Stayed in same hotel and same room type twice during this 2-week trip. During the first stay, the extra bed was set up perfectly n 3 sets of towels were provided. However, during the second stay, no extra bed was in the room and only 2 sets of towels were available. A call to the front desk turned into an argument of which the hotel staff insisted that I had booked a room for 3 with 1 King size bed n that I need for o request for an extra bed during booking and pay for it. I was instructed to go to front desk to speak to the front desk manager if I disagree, which I did. Policy changes and misleading information provided by booking.com etc were mentioned. Of all the bookings i have made on Bookings in the past years for a room for 3 Adults, I have never had this issue with any other hotels. In conclusion, i would not recommend this hotel if there are 3 Adults in a room. The stars given are for the housekeeping team who responded quickly to my request for towels n setting up the extra bed quickly. While I appreciate the manager’s gesture to waive the extra bed fee, I am disappointed with Hilton’s staff’s attitude and their decision to spend precious time arguing with me over 65Euro because of an error not made by a customer.

Very comfortable beds.
The breakfast is overpriced and the Arab buss boys don’t speak German or English and they’re no better than robots. You seat yourself with your coffee and then get up to get food, and when you come back they have cleared your table. At that point someone else may be at your table.

The S Bahn was accessible from inside the hotel. We were only 4 minutes from the Marienplatz. And the concierge was pleasant and most helpful.
The laundry cost was quite high.
