Room and bed were both lovely and big. Design of the bathroom was really nice. Lots of nice touches such as being able to borrow bathrobes, slippers etc. from reception.
Great location close to the train station, and with the Augustiner Kellner just a few minutes' walk for (I assume) a fairly authentic Munich beer garden experience.
We booked this hotel based on the website (the hotel's own, not booking.com) description of its spa for a relaxing evening after a long day of travelling. Unfortunately the Turkish spa doesn't exist; the pool had a lot of lights not working so was quite dark, and was pretty chilly; the hydromassage pool is a tiny bit of the main pool, which to start with didn't have any bubbles. Reception staff initially told us a technician had to press a button, then (an hour before it closed for the night) we discovered there was a button inside the pool. Voila, bubbles - but at the same temperature as the main pool so not exactly a relaxing place to sit.
We raised this at the time and were told to speak to a manager the following morning at 9am - after we were checking out. We have since emailed and had a prompt response from the manager, offering a discount, but yet to receive it.
Breakfast had a really wide selection, but for 20 euros per person I would have expected some fresh made-to-order options, and for the hot items to be more than lukewarm.
Even being at the end of the corridor, we heard a lot of noise from doors shutting, shower and toilet from above us etc.
Overall we didn't feel this was value for money.

The hotel was in a good location, just a 5 minute walk away from the Hackerbrucke train station. A nearby tram station also makes for good transport around the hotel. It was also easy to get Uber rides at the hotel. The hotel is also a short 7 minute car ride away from Marienplatz.
We stayed in a Junior suite which was very spacious (highly recommended!) and provided us with a comfortable stay in the hotel. The hotel comes with an indoor pool which we didn't have a chance to use during our stay. Breakfast provided at the hotel was average - we wished that there was better signages at the restaurant to inform guests that they could order eggs (omelette or fried eggs) which we only discovered on the third day of our stay when we saw a guest doing so.
The phone in our room was not working, which made it impossible for us to call reception for help or order room service. For 2 days in a row, we informed the reception about this problem and they promised that a technician would fix the phone. Unfortunately, this was not done. We settled on getting food delivery via Uber Eats, which was cheaper and more convenient as the delivery riders could walk up to the rooms directly.
All in all, for the price that we paid for a comfortable stay in Munich, as well as the location, we would recommend this hotel.

Great front desk staff- over the top helpful and friendly as wet as housekeeping. The breakfast buffet is definitely recommended.
The see -through shower wall, ie the glass side totally visible to the bedroom.

Lovely hotel staff very friendly, location perfect only 30min walk into the centre, train station 10min walk, rooms were a good size and had everything we needed.
Breakfast had a good variety of options, but the toaster had broken on our first day and they didn’t replace it, also one coffee machine which meant people queuing, another one was out of order, Hotel bar didn’t sell just snacks only full meals which were quite expensive.

Fantastic, spacious, modern room located near the main railway station and an easy walk or tram journey into the city centre. Very comfortable and pretty much just over the road from the Augustiner beer garden, which was a very nice bonus (and an easy trip back afterwards)!
The only strange thing was the coloured, opaque glass separating the bathroom with the bedroom. It was difficult to see into the bedroom from inside the shower… but it was not difficult to see inside the shower from the bedroom!
