This hostel is set in a quiet side street, a 2-minute walk from Munich Main Station. Euro Youth Hotel Munich offers spacious rooms, free Wi-Fi and 24-hour access. Located in a historic building from the 1880s, the Euro Youth Hotel features an antique wooden staircase, marble floors and chandeliers. The bright rooms all include handmade wooden beds, free bed linen and safes. An all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet is available each morning. The Euro Youth Hotel’s bar serves Bavarian beers and screens sports events on a 9.8 ft projector screen and oled TV. Quiz nights, live concerts and DJ sets are often held here. The room itself was smelly, the same with the public bathrooms. I only stayed one night and I was glad I didn't have to stay longer.

This hostel has restored my faith in humanity. My first trip to Europe has unfortunately been marked by a few less-than-ideal hostel experiences across different cities. Euro Youth is the last stop—and thankfully, the best one. The 5-bed room is spacious and comfy. The buffet breakfast at just 8€ is incredibly generous. All staff, from the reception to the bar, were really really helpful and friendly. The location is perfect, not only near the main station but also near a connecting elevator so you don't need to walk too much in case you have heavy luggage.
The laundry is very affordable for an expensive city like Munich, you should do your laundry here. But the machines are a bit old so make sure you read the instructions carefully.
