Breakfast was ok, but you had to pay, beds were ok, but with pointed wooden sides on the base ( watch out you don't hit your legs )
what i didn't like was no cups or tea spoons or milk, sugar, in the room even though they say they have coffee machine my daughter who had 2 small children went down to the bar and just asked for a cup of herbal tea, they would not provide unless she went upstairs and got her credit card ( such bad form ) i had to walk through the street with my 2 small grandchildren as the woman at the desk would not give me our room until 3pm even though it was ready, very unhelpful, staff

Mehmet at the front was extremely helpful. He offered to do our check in for us and then offered us an upgrade which was extremely thoughtful. The room was amazing, beds were extremely comfortable and the balcony was a nice extra with and good view.

Excellent location in a pleasant neighbourhood with plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance, as well as public transport connections; good air-condition and complimentary water which was essential and much appreciated given the high temperatures outside; comfortable bed
The room was more cramped than expected, with the layout and facilities not matching the pictures here (we booked the Garden Cocoon but the room looked more like an Urban Cocoon room). I explicitly booked and paid extra for the Garden room since I didn't want to have a merged sink and hallway area leading straight from the door to the bed, so it was a disappointment to get this layout in the end anyway. Also, there was no "bubble chair" in the room or shower gel either—for some reasons there were two bottles of shampoo but no shower gel. I didn't ask at the reception for an explanation or a room switch, though, because we didn't stay for long and I didn't really feel comfortable with the receptionist(s), they seemed quite stressed and distracted already upon my arrival and check-in. The fact that the reception desk is adjunct to the restaurant's bar was not helpful for neither the staff nor guests, to say the least—only one receptionist working at a time meant long waiting time for guests with no proper space to stand in line or sit comfortably without blocking the corridors.

When it was time to leave
Where do I start. That place is a joke. Staff are not welcoming. A restaurant is run on the ground floor, and the hotel guests are not a priority. You struggle to find someone willing or able to solve a problem or answer a question. When you do, they make you feel they are doing you a favour. The bed was awful, two single beds joined and with a resulting groove in the middle you keep falling into. The bathroom was terrible. Self shutting door that you can’t keep open. After a shower the place is a sauna, and you are drenched in sweat before getting dressed. They don’t do room service unless requested, which is fine. But that doesn’t work when your shower is wet floor and you live in a constant wet mess. No water unless requested, and you need to pay a deposit (wtf). No coffee facilities in the room. There are some coffee machines available in the foyer, but not around the clock. That’s terribly serious when you are jet lagged. My booking data was leaked and I started receiving phishing texts. No warning and no responsibility taken. Never an explanation or an apology.

Very characteristic hotel in the heart of the city!
We arrived by car and wanted to use the parking garage. The garage had a bell to ring the front desk but no-one answered. Then I called their telephone number on the site, got waiting music for 5 minutes. All while being parked in the entrance of the garage. My partner had to run in, where there was 1 person working the front desk with a queue of over 4 families. Then we arrived at self-check-in. The process was nothing like self-check ins at modern hotels. It was simply an iPad which required way more info than other hotels ever ask. Our card was created, we showed up on our floor with all our luggage but the card wouldn't work. We couldn't enter the floor. I went back down, stood in that same queue for help. There were 4 staff members working the bar and eating. Only 1 was working reception, who regularly was away doing stuff in the back. When it was my turn he said the self-check in was broken and it was known, so he created a new card for me. Why on earth they still had the self-check in open while it was broken is a mystery to me.

We liked our stay here and we would come again. It is a nice hotel and we appreciate how it was designed. The staff was nice, the room was clean and beautiful, and the garden looked charming.
Only a few small things, the mattress was a bit hard for my liking and a bit uneven, the sink design causes a lot of spilling. A fridge would also be nice to have.
