Wonderful
Nice, comfortable room overlooking a lively, architecturally interesting street. Close to everything, including a late night middle eastern restaurant serving wonderful, low-cost authentic food.
My only criticism was the slightly musty smell of the shower curtain. The bathroom was otherwise excellent: newly renovated and very clean.

It is a close walk from the train station. The bathroom was clean and included a tub. There is a balcony.
I had a two night stay booked. I could only handle one night. I am well traveled. I have stayed at least 50 different hotels of varying price ranges all throughout Europe. I have also stayed in many hostels. This was the first time I had to leave a lodging early. The room was boiling hot. There is no a/c (just a/c in the hallways). The mattress literally was three inches thick. The linens were scratchy and pilled. The thin, old carpet was covered in horrible stains. The room stank of cigarette smoke, though this was likely because other guests were smoking on their balconies, not because previous guests had smoked in the room. It was just generally gross. They make you pay on arrival. Had I not paid, I would have walked out immediately. Management refused a refund for the additional night. The traffic circle next to the hotel is under heavy construction right now. I woke up to constant jack-hammers at 7am after a fitful, itchy sleep. I've had better sleeps in 10 bed hostel rooms. Again, I cannot overstate how bad the bed is. I was aware the hotel was a budget European hotel. As such, I was expecting a fairly ugly, no-frills room. I was not expecting a gross hovel. The hotel's photos are not prepresentive of the lodgings.

I appreciated that they had a fan in the room. It was hot when we were in Munich and the room doesn't have air conditioning (which we understand), but between leaving the window open and the fan, we were able to sleep at a decent temperature.

The location was amazing
No air conditioning in the middle of the summer is a real bummer. Also some facilities were broken such as the hair dryer.

I love the location, staff is nice and the rooms have everything needed for a comfortable stay.
I had a room that was extremely noisy. Lots of noise mostly from the road and the bells nearby.
