Our stay ended up being for 1 night instead of 2, due to our arrival being delayed by heavy snow falls. The hotel kindly accommodated our change with short notice. This is an older style building with a contemporary fitout; was clean; presented well; helpful staff; good wi-fi; excellent buffet breakfast, and was close to lots of cafes etc. The corner suite had a good outlook.

Location is great and near by are many restaurants and bars. Just about 1,5km to city center.
No air conditioning. The lobby smelled of mold. Shower curtain had stains on it. The hair dried didnt work.

We booked Carlton Astoria during Oktoberfest, and in spite of it being their busiest time of year we got responses immediately to our questions about travel and arrival. The hotel was absolutely darling, and the breakfast was beyond our expectations. We felt like we were staying in a cozy home, and look forward to coming back.

The room was large, quiet and clean. There are lifts and stairs which are very convenient. Breakfast was good. Very close to the art museum.

Proprietors and front desk staff were excellent--professional and classy and took care of all of our needs. Breakfast was included in our room fee and was also excellent and very high class. Hotel had a quaint feel to it, even though it was good sized.
The location was a bit off the beaten path, .4 mile walk to the subway station. Bathroom was tired.

The Front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast attendants were exceptionally nice. The complimentary morning breakfast was very good and the dining room was a delightful area.
