The location was close to my business destination. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The interior looks like the last renovation was in the 1970ies. Especially the bath was looking as I remember it from my parents old house. I hate showers with shower curtain, especially if the shower is rather small anyway. The room was very dark.

Perfect location—close to Munich’s historic center as well as the more modern area around the Pinakothek museums and the Technical University. The neighborhood is calm, clean, and quiet enough to sleep with the windows open—truly European in character. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was just right to start the day: good coffee, fresh bread, and a nice variety of flavors to choose from. I only wish I could have stayed a little longer
There was no air conditioning in the room (at least in the one I stayed in). The high ceilings made it a bit better, but a fan would have helped a lot.

I liked the classical setting of the hotel. The corridors and the details. It shows that is old but it has its own beauty within this idealization of vintage. The location is excellent in Munich.
I didn´t like the way the personnel interacts with their guests. On my check the 25.07 at 9pm after a rainy night i came into the hotel with my 70 year old mother (the room was for her) and the person in the reception started as we came inside to repeat at loud "Hallo...Hallo....Hallo" as if we were not meant to be there, although i responded to the first Hallo (I do have full proficiency in german living and working here some years now and being in touch with the culture for more than a decade I can tell this was not cultural but rather a rude person. I had to ask him to stop calling us at loud and staight say "please its being a long day, I heared the first time, now I need some calmness" and then he was directly offended and started to make arguments and stair at us up to a point i had to say "is everything ok? shall we start with the process?" of course by this time my mother was already distressed, and of course still wet. Its a shame.

If your room faces the street it is quite loud at night and one has to open the windows during the summer because there is no ac and it gets pretty hot in the room
Windows don’t open completely only one side
Rooms looked a bit run down but nothing too bad

The location and the vibe of the hotel was quite nice. The check in process was smooth as well.
In the late afternoons there was sometimes some pigeons making mating calls loudly outside the window. Not sure if the hotel can do anything about this but something to consider if anyone is looking for a more quiet stay.
